About Deep Creek State Recreation Area
Deep Creek State Recreation Area is a wonderful place to relax on the beach and observe bald eagles and playful sea otters. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Ring of Fire volcanos and capture memorable photos of eagles returning to their favorite perches. The area offers great beach sites, but lacks electric, water, or sewer facilities. It can get crowded during salmon runs. Amenities include upgraded porta potties, picnic benches, fire pits, and a boat launch, though caution is advised due to potholes and windy conditions.

Amazing place to hang out on the beach and watch bald eagles. Also great views of the Ring of Fire volcanos in the area. Sea otters are fun to watch too. Make sure you pay for your parking space, they will give you a ticket.

They have an eagle that has a favorite post right by the road. When it sees something of interest he/she takes off, but comes back to the the same post! Got some great photos. (FYI, four stars for too many potholes)
