If you are looking for looking for a reliable and honest mechanic shop, look no further than Brad.He is your one stop shop!I went to another shop 2 months ago and they lied to me. I started doing some research and I came across this company and it was the best decision ever.They do not take walk ins, so you need to call or email them first. They will send you a document for you to fill out. You answer questions about your car and what you are planning to do.They go over the request and Brad lets you know when to bring the car in for service.Once they go over the car, you will get a quote via text or email. In addition, once you approve it, they can send you the invoice so you can pay it from your computer. Once it is done, they will send you a report with before and after pictures.It is just GREAT!!!When you pick up the car, Brad will go over the parts and will show you the old parts that were removed. It is just a very good business model.The cost, it is fair market value and you are helping a local business owner.I can say that my car runs 200% better than ever before.

I came across Mat Su Auto and Fleet when I was looking at buying a new car in Summer 2017. They were recommended to me by my roommate for a pre purchase vehicle inspection. Brad went above and beyond when explaining what he was looking at as we went through multiple vehicles. Brad and Margie made themselves available through email to help me filter through vehicles online before I pursued leads further. They helped me decide which car made sense to purchase, what work it needed now, and what work it would need later. They are honest and thorough. They've helped me through issues even when I was in Fairbanks, with bad signal in Canada, and have been a solid sounding board now that I am no longer in Alaska. I trust that they have my best interest in mind and when deciding on what work needs to be done do it from a solid standpoint of integrity. The best part, even if you don't know about cars, they don't brush you off, they explain things in a manner that is easy to understand and treat you like a real person. I would recommend Brad and Margie (MatSu Auto and Fleet) to anyone that is looking for a honest mechanic that has their interests in mind.Rosie E.

If I could choose 6 stars, I would!!! These are trustworthy, hardworking, and diligent/detail-oriented professionals, and you can not go wrong taking your vehicle here. We were lucky enough to live close by to them, but it would absolutely be worth the trip from Anchorage to bring your vehicle here for maintenance or repairs. And if you are like me and don't know much about vehicles, no worries - they will explain things clearly and will not talk down to you or try to persuade you to fix unnecessary things. They seeem to have an almost intuitive sense of what is going on with their projects and genuinely care about their customers. I know this all from first hand experience with them when we had serious vehicle issues that needed to be fixed on a timeline. Just take your vehicle here - you will not be sorry!!

We have known Margaret and Brad for sometime. There are just some people whom you like from the second you meet them. Margaret and Brad are those kind of people. Our car broke down last weekend and we had it towed to Margaret and Brad's shop. They had the car back to us very quickly and did not charge us an exorbitant amount to fix it. Look no further! The crew at Matsu Auto are welcoming and professional. I had an oil change and coolant hose replacement on a Caterpillar 3126 done on short notice. Highly recommended. Note: Google Maps will not route to the right location. Just be sure to turn onto the marked Butte Airman Rd off Sullivan and you'll get there.

Brad and Margie act with the highest integrity and standards of customer service. They will make themselves available, even rearranging their schedule to fit your needs, and have lower-than-average rates for the area. Brad gets the job done right and early, refusing to compromise the quality of his work. He explains his process and findings with absolute respect and will not push you to do things beyond your budget. After Brad helped me out with a newly acquired car, my grandad in Glacierview said, "The mechanic--now, that's the real gold mine."
