About The Aurora Hotel
The Aurora Hotel is a large camp at the end of the Dalton Highway in Deadhorse and Prudhoe Bay. It is used primarily by local workers and truckers, but also serves tourists. The place is not fancy, but it is nice, clean, and modern. The rooms are big, clean, and relatively modern with luxurious furnishings. Amenities include a big queen size bed, a large desk, a reclining easy chair, a big flat screen TV with satellite television, free wifi, and a private bathroom. Some guests note the mattress is really bad, but find it manageable. A major highlight is the food. All meals are included, featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet with a huge selection, better than a restaurant. The food is delicious, to die for, and surprisingly good, served in a great dining room that takes care of guests 24/7. There is also a great sundry store on site. The staff is helpful and amazing. Guests should be ready to wear provided booties inside.
This place is phenomenal. The rooms are nice. The food is to die for. The location is perfect. Nancy at the front desk is amazing.

The place is simple so my review will follow suit - they take care of you, and feed you surprisingly good meals. If I ever return to Prudhoe Bay, I’ll be excited to stay at the Aurora again.
