Excellent enough for me and the purpose of my visits to Seward: charter fishing. Rooms are tidy, clean, and neatly setup every single time. Staff are friendly and helpful. I've stayed at this place a few times - both alone and with fishing buddies.

The room was clean, but you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms. Whenever someone turned on the water, turned on the fan, or spoke loudly, we heard everything. There wasn't even a kettle, so we couldn't even make tea. There is only a kettle for drip coffee. The parking lot is large.

Our room was spotless, the service was flawless, and if we are ever back in Seward I know where we are staying, the Harborview!

Their own description uses the word “straightforward” and I agree. Not many frills or amenities but a great little place to stay while in Seward. Staff was very nice and the room was clean and had everything we needed. Location was good enough. Everything is really within walking distance anyway with how small the town is. (And we had a young child with us. Even he didn’t mind walking everywhere)

Cozy comfy room. Even had a foldout sofa that was also comfortable. Rates are reasonable for this area. Mary at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. If I comeback will stay again.Shuttle from the train stops right in front of the Inn

Is it worth spending $200+ a night for a bed that’s going to hurt your back? Yes, yes it is, because the alternative is spending $400+ a night in this town. This is by far the most affordable hotel to stay in near the harbor while in Seward.I didn’t catch her name, but the woman who checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms kind of reminded us of older college dorms, but they were clean, with house sitting coming by during the day.I think the only suggestion I have is (besides the beds) is to have something to cover the stained glass decal in the front doors on the inside. Of course they’re gorgeous, but the windows are not so conducive to sleep when it’s light out all hours of the night.

Very clean and very comfortable. Walls and windows a little thin for noise. Would stay here again. Very convenient.

Would not recommend staying here! Very outdated, could hear other rooms conversations, no view, right next to noisy main road, not clean, uncomfortable beds. Spend your money elsewhere!

The price was good and it had an acceptable location. However, our room was incredibly noisy when walking in the room (poor construction?) and when the heat activated. It was enough to keep us awake at night and when someone had to get up at night.

Ah this review i was thorn between a 3 or 4, but Mary is so nice and helpful that I am going with a 4. The reason why i even considered a 3 is bc of the room i was given. When i opened the door it had that old wood smell that instantly hits the nostrils. The scent made me forget to take pictures of the room. The room was cute with wood furniture and cabin-like feels. The ceiling had some spots where you can see the outline of a wood plank could be seen in the ceiling and the whole night could hear creaking sounds. The sounds kept waking me up. The sound was the reason why I was thinking of a 3, but i was able to get some sleep. Location is between downtown Seward and the sealife center. You can walk to/from the hotel to the main area of downtown Seward. There is a free shuttle during the summer that runs and leaves you across the street from the hotel. There is a BBQ place down the street as well as a hidden burger gem.

Stayed at the hotel while on vacation in Seward. The rooms were very clean with the necessary amenities. Mary, at the front desk is very friendly and provides amazing customer service. Location is walking distance to both downtown and the harbor. Best hotel in Seward! Will be sure to come back!

Our room looked like it came from the 80's. Bed was very uncomfortable. Water was dripping through the bath fan. Location was great.

This hotel would have been a five star for me. Great location, front desk staff helpful, room clean but we had room 2 it was so noisy both night that we did not get any sleep. It alot of money to pay for no sleep.
