The Marina Motel is a lower cost, affordable option in Seward. It is not a fancy facility, but is clean, adequate, and well maintained. The location is perfect and very good, just outside the boat harbor and a short walk to the Seward Harbor area and small boat harbor. It is also close to Exit Glacier, dog sledding, the aquatic center, and many restaurants and tour companies. The staff is very welcoming, friendly, helpful, lovely, and accommodating. The motel has a quaint 24 hour coffee room adjacent to the check-in lobby, and rooms include a refrigerator and coffee pot. Some rooms offer a river view and blackout curtains. It is a minimalist facility with no exercise room or guest laundry. Experiences can vary, with some stays noting issues like a small, cold room, bad odor, or maintenance problems, while many others enjoy the value and would stay again in a heartbeat. It remains a grateful, affordable choice for many, especially during the winter season when other places are closed.
Not the best or worst hotel in the area but certainly one of the Lower cost ones. Just outside of the boat harbor for the cruise ships. A short 8 minute walk to tge small boat harbor. Walkable with many resolutions and tour companies.

Very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean with a river view. Coffee pot in rooms. I would have liked coffee in the lobby as well. The rooms also have blackout curtains.

Such a welcoming and helpful staff. Motel isn't fancy, but it is clean and well maintained and close to Exit Glacier, Seavey's dog sledding, the Aquatic center and more. Would stay here again in a heart beat.
