“We recently applied for a loan with GCU. Elise from the Solfotna branch was very helpful in explaining our options beforehand. She suggested applying online which we hoped would make an easier proces however, the online experience ended up being more frustrating than expected. Thankfully, when we went in Jon at the Soldotna branch stepped in and made all the difference—he answered our questions with patience and genuine care and made the process much smoother. While I wouldn’t recommend handling a car loan entirely online, we’re very grateful for Jon’s support in the end.”

“This is an easily accessible bank in the center of town, and they have a drive-through pull up window at the back if you need to talk to a teller from your car. Also this is somewhat handicapped accessible from the front with both handicap parking and a doorway you can generally get through on the ground level. They do offer a number of banking and financial services, but they are a bit pricey. They don’t have any checking or savings account generally without fees, unless you deposit probably a lot of money. So just be aware that this is a little pricier. But Wells Fargo is offered across the country, and internationally. It just would be nice if they offered checking and savings accounts in some format that didn’t have constant fees, good for kids starting out, and people with low income. But this is a robust and reliable company, and fairly honest. Plus their online apps work fairly well too.”
