Well here's the scoop my friends.
Grama was shopping yesterday got to checkout. Wrote a check as usual ( most older adults still use checks )
Was having a hard time tearing it out, cashier said let me do it. Grams gave her checkbook, cashier then called manager and they ran her through the gauntlet almost accusing her of forgery. This is truly unexceptable in today's life. Little ole lady being accused. REALLY BAD PR

Had an issue while shopping and visited the customer service to ask for help as I had lost my hat and was checking to see if it had been turned in. The guy behind the counter (longer hair average-ish height) was rude and dismissive of me. This isn’t the first time he’s been this way before as well. Anytime I’ve encountered him he’s been irritable and short. Time to drive to Kenai to do my Safeway shopping from now on…

Easily the worst Safeway I’ve ever ever been to and pretty much hold the cake for the worst grocery store too. Asked for some meat and cheese from the deli to be sliced thin, they just grabbed it from pre-sliced didn’t even ask. I asked for mayonnaise package. They said it was on the table, it wasn’t then just ignored me.
How do you use $100 and the cashier was rude Soooo apparently money isn’t money? Anyway will not be back 10/10 would not recommend

I will never understand why safeway charges so much! Something that's 2.99 at Walmart and Freddie's is 4.99 at safeway! I used to work there and ask about this and never got a straight answer. Great place to shop! If you want to spend 2x as much on the same items at fred meyer and walmart!

The Kenai Safeway employees are a genuine asset to Safeway. Never had a bad exp with any of them and the managers run the store well. The evening manager even went out of his way to go find me in parking lot and get my change to me I had forgot. Thank you kind sir for going above and beyond.
