“So glad this service is here. Many businesses a person orders from in the lower 48 will not ship to Alaska. Carlile has a Depot in Tacoma WA. When your package arrives in Tacoma, you are notified. You simply sign in to your account and pay their freight charge and your package is on its way to Alaska. It is much cheaper than any other shipping method besides Amazon Prime Free Shipping. And, not everything from Amazon ships to Alaska either. When your package arrives in Alaska, Carlile notifies you and you simply go pick it up at one of their terminals. They will transport almost anything - tires, car parts, pallets, almost anything! I can only speak for the Kenai Terminal but their personnel have always been friendly, concerned, and eager to help. Thank you.”
“I was surprised that there was no hand truck available to bring in multiple boxes. I have used this location for 25 years and they have always had a hand truck or dolly for customers convenience. Other wise employees are very friendly and helpful ?”
“Crystal has been our mail lady for years, she goes above and beyond and has over the last 6 years I’ve lived here, it is very clear to me how much she cares about her job and goes out of her way on a daily to keep our mail safe. One example of many, I left my mail key in my cluster box, she locked it safely away inside along with a note, I let her know I would not be able to get my other key for about 3 weeks and she brought my key along with my packages to my door and carefully placed them off the ground. This is the kind of care she shows not only to me but many others in our neighborhood. I hope you realize just how special of an employee you have because she is simply the best!!”
