We’ve spent lots of money over the years shopping at this store, even with everything being over priced and inflated, we still have taken the gouge to support this local business. However, after today we won’t be coming back and I won’t be recommending others to come here. Being grumpy and rude to customers drives business away. My kids wanted a candy bar from the candy machine and pulled on it to get one out. After they went to ask me if they could both have one, she scolded them and yelled “DON’T PULL THE KNOBS IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BUY THE CANDY” in a rude tone. Lady seriously chill, there was no reason to be a Karen. Things could have been said nicer and much calmer. We didn’t buy the candy after that and won’t be buying anything else from this store.

Highly recommended. Beautiful fabrics and friendly service. And the prices are ok too.

This was an AMAZING shop, with the most accommodating staff. Laurie was so helpful. The Alaska themed batiks were to die for in the designs and color choices. I could have spent a lot more money, but had to rein it in at some point! ? It’s definitely worth the trip if you’re in the vicinity.
Talkeetna was the cutest town, and made for a perfect day.

Turns out that one of their employees works in my nearby town in the winter! I had taken a class from her but she wasn't there that day. Nice and friendly store!

Lots of options and very beautiful fabrics and designs. Some Alaskan specific options and high/reasonable prices depending on the item ($4/fat quarter). Much bigger than I expected it would be. Very friendly owner inside.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of Alaskan themed and Alaskan designed quilt kits and projects, large and small. A definite stop if you’re traveling through.

Great place to purchase unique fabrics for quilts. Reasonably priced fabrics. They happily ship items at cost. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Lovely little shop in a little out of the way town called Talkeeta. We found it after the bus dropped us off. The Yelp information said it was closed on Tuesday. So happy that it was open Tuesday, 7/19/22. We bought a few things from a friendly cashier. We were tempted to buy much more, but we resisted the urge. Today. Who know if we can resist when we return tomorrow?!?!?

On our Alaska adventure, we popped into the Patchwork Moose. There were 3 of us and we all bought Tula. Such a fun shop with great choices of fabrics. Don’t pass this shop by!!
