Had a fantastic stay at Susan's house. The house is quite warm and spacious and is only a 5 minute walk to the Cultural Center and Museum as well as supermarket. The house has multiple rooms that you can explore (if no one else is sleeping in them of course) and features many intriguing Alaskan displays including sculptures, dolls, and pictures not to mention a giant polar bear hanging from the rails. I'm so glad I opted to stay here versus the Top of the World Hotel as Susan might be the only one in town who actually offers an in-depth private tour (at extra cost) that includes areas that most tourist could never see or reach, including wildlife, a scientific research station - all in an awesome jacked-up truck! She even let me use her binoculars to try and spot polar bears! So if you're sort of on the fence about booking or not, definitely do it!

Sounds great for a couple days if U like the great, wild, Quiet out of doors!! Would love to go, but often " crowded", April to Sept.,,, Oil Fields within walking distance. Restricted lands. Would love a couple days the end of June...Lots of good info from the man with whom I spoke.

The coziest spot in Barrow. I don’t usually stay in B&Bs but I’m really happy I chose Susan and Myron’s place over the town’s other options. The food is excellent, the ambience is extremely warm and inviting, and it’s very clean. It quickly starts to feel like “home” not long after you arrive. I couldn’t recommend it more.

Absolutely wonderful B&B!!! I spent 8 nights at Latitude 71 in Barrow as part of an aerial crew doing work in the region. The owners are fantastic and make you feel welcome. The property is VERY well maintained and is extremely clean. The room was great and had everything you would need. Bed was really comfortable and the home cooking is excellent. We did breakfast and dinner everyday and loved it. I would highly recommend staying here while in Barrow.

Susan & Myron (the owners) are just so warm and hospitable! They treat all of their guests like family and give very practical advice for exploring the Utqiagvik/North Slope area. The rooms and the common areas are all super cozy and tastefully-decorated with lots of uniquely Alaskan art. Such a great place to experience wonders of the North from. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Susan and Myron are excellent hosts. Beautiful home, delicious food, friendly conversation. Our time in Barrow was 100% better than it would have been if we'd stayed anywhere else.
