Probably best hotel in Valdez, relatively low bar though. If there was a better option I would have rated this lower. Staff was nice but they smoked a few feet from our room and our room constantly smelled like smoke. No AC, so closing the window was not an option.

This hotel is really the only game in town in Valdez, which explains the room rates which I think are high ($250/night in May). That said, it does have all the facilities you would want. The rooms were nothing special but they were clean and comfortable.

Hotel was very nice only complaint was the mattress covers must be plastic and makes the bed so hot!
