The grounds are well taken care of, with absolutely beautiful views and a pristine stream. It is centrally located, providing very good access to town, the Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery, and hiking trails. The facilities are a standout feature, with restrooms, showers, and laundry areas described as very clean, immaculate, and squeaky clean throughout the day. The showers are nice and hot. Guests can camp from an RV, tent, or one of the lodging options. The campground also has a camp store and high-speed Wi-Fi. The staff is consistently praised as wonderful, kind, helpful, friendly, accommodating, and understanding. They are noted for going above and beyond to assist guests. The overall service is considered the best and most supportive encountered, making stays enjoyable and stress-free. Many guests report returning for multiple visits and plan to stay again, highly recommending the location.

The spot was absolutely beautiful! Very clean and a beautiful view of the mountains. Only about a 10 minute drive to the heart of Valdez. The staff was very kind and helpful as well. We were so sad to leave.
