Worthington Glacier State Recreational Site is a must stop if passing by. A quick little walk leads right up to the glacier. The viewing platform is easy and safe. Visitors can see amazing views of Worthington Glacier and the lake below. Pathways lead to various viewpoints with informational signs about the history and facts about glaciers. One pathway goes down to the lake below the glacier, and another leads to the river below for a closer look. The site has a general store and gift shop, restrooms (though sometimes not available), trash cans, benches, and a great viewing area. Dogs can walk and kids can run around. Parking costs $5. The glacier has receded, but the place remains interesting and worth a look.
