Stayed here for a couple nights on a last-minute trip to Wasilla. The Motel seemed to be having some issues with the heating which we were able to just open a window and deal with. The room was clean; there were plenty of towels, and the beds were decently comfortable. We had other issues, but with how friendly the staff and management handled them it made me feel comfortable coming back, speaking with the manager and staff I could feel they took pride in the motel. I rarely have to stay in Wasilla, but I'd try this place again. It's a good location right off the Parks Highway.

Clean rooms, easy access, reasonable rates. Exactly what we needed for a last minute overnight stop. Helpful staff made an on-the-go reservation easy and they are able to accommodate late night check-ins.

Four of us stayed there not overnight while we were in the area on our motorcycles. Savannah and the other young ladies that work there were over the top. Extremely accommodating, hard-working, very nice, and it's obvious they take a personal interest in the customer experience. I would definitely stay there again if I was ever in the area. Great value, clean and comfortable rooms, fantastic staff. What else do you need!?!

1 star for not getting bedbugs. Otherwise this place is filthier than a motel 6. Our non smoking room smelled insanely strongly of smoke, the bedsheets seemed like they were not replaced, etc etc. This place is cheap, but you get what you pay for. I ended up checking out early.

Had a nice night sleep the first night even tho the bed spreads were littered with burn holes. The ladies were extremely nice.
The second night I woke up to a very rude front desk person that made me feel very uncomfortable. The room was so hot I had to sleep with the windows open. I was 15 minutes late to check out due to the cab company and he charged an extra 50.00 dollars. There was no phone in the room nor any place to charge my phone as the wall socket wasn't working.. 😡

This is a MOTEL so have reasonable expectations. Might be a tad noisy for some but highway noise like white noise to me. Super clean. Smart TV but WIFI weak. Super hot water. Lots of towels. Pillows smelled a bit of cigarette smoke? ! Walking distance to average restaurants. Price good. Self check in if staff left for the day.

Alaskan View is a very well maintained older small Motel. The staff is efficient, polite and helpful. Friendly! and the cookies are delicious. Fresh and homemade by the front desk manager..

Treated my 15 year
(ESA Dog) WELL behaved. . With documentation, paperwork from my provider & doctor...... like absolute garbage... After I'd already done my research.. with staying with a friend overnight...... It was that shift change, and me advocating for myself, apparently doesn't go well .. between the employee and the owner, n lil black frenchie bulldog/red truck... ($$$) thank goodness for the officer.
Who saw that I was not belligerent and gave me as much time as I needed to gather my belongings ....

The room was clean and lovely. The furniture is beautifully made.
It is located right near the highway. The sounds of traffic were constant.
