Very poor customer service. I tried to pay for something that I bought online and it happened to be a foreign country website. They blocked the usage of my card, which I understand they have done out of protection. Then text message came asking if it was me, I responded yes, they said debit card was good to use. I tried, it was still blocked. Another text message asking if it was me. I responded again yes. Tried again. Blocked, another text message asking to call. I did. After about a half dozen of security questions, she accessed my account, supposedly unblocked. I’m tired again, still blocked. I called again, she assured it was unblocked, I tried again, still blocked, so I am calling again. Representative says call them on during their business hours and I said: Today is Friday, Monday a a holiday, so you are saying I won’t be able to use it until Tuesday? She kept saying, during their business hours. It’s absolutely horrible service. Until then, I don’t have access to my own money, it’s my debit card not a credit card. I will be looking for a different bank, this is unacceptable. I am locked out of my own account. What a mess.

While I don’t like that they don’t have a restroom when you can be there for hours but today I had great help and understanding from Tamara and Caleb. My pops is passing away and they helped me so much and talked me through things because I have a lot of work to do taking care of his arrangements and finances. They were terrific!

They were very welcoming and helpful in sorting out my tech problems. The bank was warm and clean also. Tamara was very helpful and positive with everyone that came in. Hanna the agent who helped me went out of her way to fix my issues.

No tellers in branches, teller counter completely vacant. Disembodied voice from a back room yells out to wait. Wait for what? Wait for Who? Nobody is coming!!! Kiosks are what we are expected to use even when we are standing there in person to conduct business.
Today I’ve been on hold for about 20 minutes trying to reach a branch that I can walk in to close my account and take all my money and banking business elsewhere. But yet, I’m on hold with a Lower 48 phone number. Seriously, NOVisision😞. Member for over 43 years. But sadly, I’m done✔️

I don't like Nu Vision as well as Denali, whom they bought out. However, in Wasilla, I always get personal service from Caleb or Monica when I come in. That being said, the new telephone system that they've installed to replace the old one is inefficient and doesn't address the issues I have. I wish they would stop trying to replace people with machines, it's not working.

I've had a couple bad experiences regarding different matters in being a Nuvision member.One was when I noticed that on the mobile app there were duplicate charges on my credit card, basically it was showing charges made that had cleared were again posted as pending charges. This happened several times for several charges. When speaking with someone over the phone was unsuccessful I went in and spoke with the branch manager who informed me that several other members were experiencing the same issue. She took my contact info and assured me I would get a call back to follow up after they "looked" into the issue. No call back ever happened. :(Another issue is that I pay roughly $700+ a month in both credit card and vehicle payment a month and was turned down for a loan when I tried consolidate both debts into one. Even though the roughly 12k loan would have lowered my monthly payments to about $200-300 (according to bank employee) a month from the current $700 a month I am paying it was still denied. When I spoke with that employee for follow up regarding an appeal I was told they would contact me. Again, the call never came.I look forward to the day of getting everything paid off so I can close my account and take my business elsewhere.

Not a fan of the bank as a corporation, I’ve had continuous problems since they bought Denali Alaskan. If not for my very lengthy credit history with them, I’d close my account.Their saving grace, the staff has been very helpful and kind. Would recommend Monica if you need help in Wasilla.
