Carson responded to my call quite
Quickly after it was placed. Everyone at tuber made me feel taken care of, from the dispatcher confirming exactly where I was, to the first truck that looked after and confirmed my location, to the tow truck driven by Carson, who drove me to the dealership. He was extremely friendly and helpful and had my car being towed in minutes.

10 stars!! This is the only towing company I’m going to call from now on. Shout out to Brandon. Yesterday September 1st I needed a tow. I had 3 other tow truck companies deny the pick up as it was in a very tight spot which required to blind side in, on a very narrow road with vehicles on all sides Brandon made it look like just another day at the office. Polite, kind, punctual and efficient. Got the job done and was pleasant the entire time no matter how shitty of a spot my vehicle was in. Amazing job and thank you very much

They saved the day with their top-notch service (they are one of the reliable partnered vendors of AMA) and replacement of my Volkswagen Tiguan battery. Special thanks to the driver, Jessie, for his fast, efficient and reliable service. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I had an issue with one of my tires on my way to work. Tuber Towing saved my car and my day! I highly recommend them! They were fast, friendlier than a chatty neighbor, and prices that don't make you cry! Amazing service!

Very unreasonable rates. The job doesnt start when they leave the shop and it doesn't end when they get back to the shop. By this logic my tow would have exceeded 100 kms when I only needed a 30km tow! They wanted to charge me $200 an hour which doesn't seem too bad but how they have this worded seems like a great way to scam hard working people out of their money.

Called for a tow during a very busy time, Connor arrived quickly, and was friendly and professional - He had a suggestion to try and fix my situation before hooking up the car to be towed, and it worked! He got my car going quickly, without having it towed and I was super grateful! Would highly recommend this company, and Connor is a really great guy (if his boss is reading this, he should get a raise) :) lol... but seriously, in this day and age you don't always get positive interactions with truly helpful people, so it was greatly appreciated!

My friend surprised me for my birthday and the visitor pass fell onto the passenger seat after driving and she was towed. Tuber Towing is our condo's towing company and so we called them at 3:26pm and they never confirmed they had the car until we repeatedly asked if they had it or not because if not we have to report it stolen. They said someone would get back to us that same day but we were unable to come and get it until then. They called us back at 3:49pm and said it will be $430 if you come today or $508 if you come tomorrow. I asked when they close and where they are located and they said 4:00pm and that they were in Spruce Grove. First of all, the person I talked to on the phone, Levi, was not helpful at all. I asked Levi if they would stay open 10 extra minutes so that we could go get her car and they said unfortunately, they are not allowed to do so. When the supervisor called me, I asked them why they wouldn't charge me the first day rate tomorrow if there is only 11 minutes for me to get to Spruce Grove from Edmonton. They said that the bill was already created and that it was unable to be changed. They then told me that my property manager is who sets the rates for towing.
I spoke to my property manager about this and she followed up with Tuber Towing. They said the following: "We have set rates for the tow from your lot to our impound of $185. This includes hook up, dollies if needed to safely tow, and kilometer charges. Storage charges starts when the vehicle enters our yard and is billed daily @ $75 per calendar day, and if the vehicle is picked up that day the bill is typically $273 for a tow to our yard. Our impound is closed on weekends so if a customer would like to pick up a vehicle Saturday or Sunday, or after 4pm on weekdays, there is a fee added to that for after hours services. If a vehicle is not picked up that same day Storage accumulates at $75 per calendar day. If a vehicle is in our impound for a few days and the customer would like an after hours release then it is possible the bill could reach $500."
Now, after talking to my property manager, the things that they are saying on the phone are just not adding up compared to what they are saying to my property manager. They never told us they were closed. They said that they were open until 4:00pm and open the next day at 8:30am (Monday, February 19th.) I even asked multiple times to confirm that they were open on the holiday and they said yes. They said to my property manager that Tuber Towing set the rate to $185 but when I was on the phone with the supervisor, they said they have nothing to do with the rates, but that my condo board sets the rates. My property manager told me that they legally can not set the towing rates for a private company. In addition, of course we could not pick up the vehicle the same day, they gave us 11 minutes until they were closed and they were in Spruce Grove. Again saying that they will “close” at 4 - implying that they are open on weekends. They not once mentioned an after hours charge which I feel like should have been mentioned, especially at that price. If they had an after hours charge option - why would they not let me come pick up the car the first day instead of charging me an extra day AND the after hours charge? Even after asking if they could stay open 10 minutes after hours so we could pick up her car the first day.
They emphasize on their website that "they care" but it felt quite the opposite. Terrible customer service. Truly felt like they are trying to get as much money out of people as they can. Always justifying their actions, blaming others and not being accountable for anything.
RESPONSE
My point is the lack of communication & honesty. You towed her car because you didn’t see the tag. Great, that’s fine…that is your job. It’s not your job to lie to people. Rules & standards can’t be situational. Obviously when I say they care I’m referring to you as you are who I am

Was towed from highway 16 by spruce grove to Wellington Edmonton, great service! Skylar did a phenomenal job, arrived quick and was willing to work around what would be best for us to get our vehicle back to the city.

I had the opportunity to use Tuber twice recently. One for roadside assistance via AMA, and then to have my car towed from the shop to my home. Dispatcher and drivers were very professional, friendly, and courteous. Service was prompt and they were great at providing updates. Would definitely use Tuber again.
