The hotel is in a good location, but unfortunately there is nothing positive to say about this hotel. The reception is almost never staffed and staff can hardly be reached. Rooms are completely outdated, unclean and poorly or not at all done. Beds not changed, just somehow folded, bathroom unclean. Toiletries not available. Kitchenette very dirty, not even tidy. There is residual waste from previous guests and dead insects everywhere. We spontaneously changed hotels on site because we couldn't stay overnight there under the circumstances. This for $173 a night, in unacceptable conditions!!! Of course, the owner could no longer be reached by phone. The owner didn't even respond to our complaint directly on site or afterwards to the tour operator. To date no response! Completely unacceptable and uncooperative!

Went to Alberta Beach for the day, while it’s not my favourite water to swim in.. I love the community and the pub across from the water.I got a little too happy winning the meat draws at the pub (THERES MEAT DRAWS ON SATURDAY). I needed a place to spend the night. We booked with a lovely lady named Cheryl and stayed in a luxury suite. A beautiful accommodation with a view of the water. Beautifully decorated with a woman’s touch.I got to watch a beautiful storm roll in over the water. A real beauty of nature. While it was a little pricey for an impromptu “I had to many drinks” night, I very much enjoyed the stay.

I am very discouraged, that this place can call itself a luxury hotel. I frivolously decided to spend the night, although i only live an hour away! The first problem, I had to wait an hour and a half, before being let into my room, because the owners, were on a supply trip to Stony Plain, or Edmonton. I was assured they would call as soon as they got back! I finally called back almost 2 hours later, and the owner answered saying she had just walked in and was helping another gentleman and to come down! That should have been a red flag! The rooms, are very well done, however upon stepping in, you smell mold. Ok perhaps that was all, ! Nope, , found hair on my sheets, had to call down for clean sheets. The first sheet came to me, not folded, but all balled up, then he went to another room and got a top sheet folded, by this time, i am feeling a bit uncomfortable , I had a pillows and blankets in my car, so got those and tried to sleep. In the morning, woke up tried to make coffee, no water in the Water Cooler, didn't matter, there was only sugar and whitener and sweetener, no coffee (lol) Decided fine, shower and go, oh Lord, no soap, no shampoo, nothing, ! Had met my next door neighbors the night before, went in their room. This one was stench, moldy carpet, I have no idea what, on the ceilings, by the doors and windows, were spider webs, full of dead insects, and the ac, had dried up bones, in it! I have no idea how they can operate

My sister stayed there when she come for a visit, forgot her necklace in her room (it has my dads ashes in it) I went to ask the front desk if anything was brought forward, they hadn’t seen anything. I explained the importance of this necklace and the person at the front desk went and asked house keeping. After some time, he come out with the necklace. This was also later in the after noon, well after there room would have been cleaned out so I don’t no why house keeping hadn’t brought it forward or said anything when they were first ask. I shouldn’t have to explain the importance of a necklace to get it back….also a little pricey for what your getting.

Not expecting anything nice but This place is NASTY. First night here paid $130 for a place with No hand soap. No water in the water jug. Sink water has a weird taste, black stains in bedding. We had the end of a toilet paper roll so we have to rationalize everything. Felt like they made the previous bed after last customer left and called it a day.

The room was great! We though dissatisfied with attitudes of the couple who booked us in. We had booked and the wife was nice and offered us Beach front. We got there and they put us into a loud smoky room and I called and mentioned it and the husband disrespect both my wife and I. She called back and honored her word and gave us the room promised. But we had no service we had to ask for toilet paper. We had 3 days there. We heard the husband complaining about us to people as he walked by the room.If we came to Alberta Beach Mama's was great but would not stay at the suites again.

Paid over $500 for the 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights. Pictures on the website showed a built-in air conditioner but when we arrived it was a small portable air conditioner that was old and too small for the space. It was 36 degrees outside and just as hot inside. When we called we were told that as long as there was some air coming out of it, that it was functioning fine. They refused to give an sort of refund.

We had booked both the apartment style suite and the Pent house for a weekend stay at the hotel. We had advised that 6 people would be in the apartment however when we checked in there was no bedding for the hide a bed. We made several attempts to contact the front desk but no one was available thus leaving us with no sheets, pillows or blankets on what was a cold rainy night. The mattress on the hide a bed also had what appeared to be a blood stains. (Yuck) The Penthouse which slept 4 quests did not have blankets and we could not get the air conditioner to shut off. Also we could not figure out how to turn on the TV with no instructions left in the rooms. To say the least this was a very disappointing stay and I would not be booking there again.

A old portable air conditioner was set up in the living room and the exhaust was not property sealed. This portable air conditioner had a hose that was put out through an open window allowing the hot air to come back in the window. One of the staff tried to seal the hole in the window with towels. The room temperature was 36 degrees inside. Currently there is a heat wave in Alberta and with that temperature inside it was unhealthy to sleep here. We paid for 2 nights and requested a refund for 1 night due to the extreme heat in the room . The front desk manager hung on on me. Do not come here if you are looking for a place to keep cool during a heat wave. Do not come here with children. This hotel keep our $500.00 and we had to find other accommodations so we could get a rest during the night and escape the extreme heat.
