Banff Trading Post is a great shop and historical place to visit at the end of Banff Avenue, worth the walk. It is a must-visit and a hidden gem with lots of beautiful jewelry, clothing, shoes, authentic native and Canadian souvenirs, and unique items like beadwork. Visitors highlight the merman and other assorted taxidermy as very interesting and awesome. It is a cool spot to explore with reasonable and fair prices, skipping overpriced souvenirs. The store is very clean and the staff are friendly. Many recommend it for its authentic goods and call it the best choice, a place to experience.
Zoe and Will were great fun as guides keeping us entertained along the way, Tony and Luke did fantastic pulling us along. Good food at the cookout, just be prepared to fight off the mosquitos

Fantastic store, rich in local history and Native goods. We visited this store following a Ghost tour which mentioned it for its strong connection to local indigenous crafts. Plenty of different gifts and keepsakes to take home from Banff. Worth a stop
