Banff Trading Post is a great shop and historical place to visit at the end of Banff Avenue, worth the walk. It is a must-visit and a hidden gem with lots of beautiful jewelry, clothing, shoes, authentic native and Canadian souvenirs, and unique items like beadwork. Visitors highlight the merman and other assorted taxidermy as very interesting and awesome. It is a cool spot to explore with reasonable and fair prices, skipping overpriced souvenirs. The store is very clean and the staff are friendly. Many recommend it for its authentic goods and call it the best choice, a place to experience.

Such a cool spot to explore and shop! Prices are reasonable, and the items are super unique! After you’re done, I recommend checking out The Historic Luxton Home (206 Beaver Street, Banff) - you’ll get to see the house of Norman Luxton, the very first owner of the Banff Trading Shop, and hear about his story.
