Banff Wine Store is a hidden gem located down a basement staircase, a place wine lovers do not want to miss. It offers a great selection of wines that are not readily available anywhere else, including quite niche and outstanding wines from regions like Australia, Spain, and Italy. The store is known for its very knowledgeable and helpful staff, with first class service and patient, kind recommendations. Prices are reasonable, rather cheaper than many other places, including the airport and neighboring liquor stores. Customers find awesome recommendations for reds, Chardonnay, local wines, and souvenir items like Icewine, even available in a mini size. The outstanding wines and very good help make it a shop visitors would definitely recommend and plan to return to.

If you are interested in wine, you must visit this place. They have a lot of wines you don’t usually see. Prices are reasonable, rather cheaper than many other places. The owner’s recommendation on chardonnay was awesome. I was going to buy a bottle but ended up getting three.

I visited to buy a souvenir ice wine recommended by the tour guide. A young female clerk kindly taught me the location of the wine and the different brands.
