The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre is a clean facility with friendly staff and a great location. It offers hot showers and displays a lot of local sports history. The concourse area is beautiful with a wood beam roof and very large windows, suitable for events like weddings where staff can set up tables and chairs. Bartenders are lovely. However, planning events can be somewhat chaotic with communication challenges, creating additional stress. The centre provides lots of parking, including short-term free parking for visitors wishing to take pictures at the nearby iconic Banff sign. Drivers are advised to watch for squirrels.
We attended a dance competition here. The space was clean and modern. The washrooms were clean.
Parking is a challenge due to the number of competitors. I think that's one thing that can be improved on here.

Great centre, lots of stuff for kids to do, however concession prices for a hotdog should be illegal. $8 for a hotdog is ridiculous.
Was there for a hockey tourney and the space was beautiful, welcoming, and great for family to relax in between games. Awesome arena minus the prices at the cafe 😂
