“What can I say about Bill at this shop but that he was our angel in coveralls! We were driving from
Medicine Hat to Calgary for a medical appointment and we had waited over a year to get this appointment. While driving on the highway just before Bassano my Odometer zeroed out and a dash full of lights started flashing. I was traveling with my 3 year old in the back, so pulled into the gas station and I went to turn off the car and restart it, the car wouldn’t move forward. The gears were clunking and crunching and I thought I blew my transmission… I was devastated. It’s been a really hard year financially and I was sick to my stomach this was going to be a really expensive repair. I asked the gas station attendant for help and long story short after calling around, this was after hours at 6pm at night, no one answered calls for help to the surrounding shops. After an hour and a half of asking tow trucks, trying to flag down someone with a tow strap to tow me to the closet shop and trying to work out a plan, the gas station attendant managed to get ahold of Bill the shop owner over Facebook and he was there in 10mins! It was 7:30pm and Bill limped my car to his shop, gave us a warm waiting room and tv to watch with my son. We made friends with Chevy, the shop cat as Bill put our car on the hoist. He found the problem right away and said it was a sensor inside the transmission that had failed. He had sourced a part and had a plan to fix it in the following weeks. I had shared my distress about the specialist appointment and how I had 2 MRIs in Medicine Hat on Monday (this was Thursday night) he said he would come in on the weekend Sat and Sunday to help have my car ready for Sunday afternoon! I had family coming to pick us up so Bill kindly helped us get to the local hotel lobby where we waited for family to come from Calgary to get us. He made sure we were safe, looked after and because of his generosity and willingness to help us, we made all three medical appointments! This was a serious answer to prayer for us and we’re so grateful to Bill and his expertise to get us fixed and back on the road again! He even fixed a headlight that needed new wiring too! I would highly recommend his shop for anyone needing honest and professional assistance! Thank you Bill, next time on the way through we will be stopping in to say high to Chevy and drop off some baked goods! ?”
