Lokal Kitchen Express is located inside a Shell gas station in Blackfalds, a short drive off the highway. Do not overlook this place. The food is absolutely amazing, top notch, and outstanding. It is some of the best fried chicken in Alberta, described as the absolute best ever, with chicken that is crispy, tender, and juicy. The Hungry Man combo #1 is a strong recommendation, offering a good variety including fried chicken, beef bulgogi, and spicy pork with rice and salad. The honey mustard and spicy sauces are incredibly delicious and legit. The house salad, corn salad, and truffle parm fries are also out of this world. Service is fast and impressive. This is a must-visit place when traveling between Calgary and Edmonton. Highly recommend; don't sleep on this place.

Its a take out only in a gas station but don't let that fool you probably top 3 fried chicken I have ever had. And we ordered the gluten free it was dynamite 100 percent recommend if going through blackfalds must stop

I can’t thank lokal kitchen enough for amazing customer service & hospitality for making my company lunch in a last minute pinch for some hard working gals & guys! Super fast friendly and helpful with not knowing what to order to fill 22 employees bellies !

I mean its in a gas station, but the food is top notch. i actually prefer this location to the others, so i stop here everytime im near by. but when im not nearby, i hit up the other locations.
