One of those local small town gems. Wonderful staff and free parking.Fresh made bread baked in store daily.Butterflake rolls. Deli with chicken, wedges sausage rolls , pot pies and other dishes. Also has a variety of meats you can have sliced to your choice of thickness. Some prices are a bit higher then the city, but what you save in time and fuel prices makes up for it. Then there are the sales, where they are actually sales, not like what I've seen in city where they up the regular price and the sale price is actually the regular price to start with, then after the "sale" they drop regular price back down claiming they lowered thier prices. Here the sales are actually sales.I like that they have always offered you a choice of bags or boxes to pack your groceries, and have been doing so way before a certain a bigger warehouse store was around.

I have been a loyal customer of Buy-Low for over 15 years. When I moved to Boyle 2 years ago from Athabasca, I was happy that I would still be able to use Buy-Low as my main grocery store.I was optimistic about the changes when Save-On-Foods purchased Buy-Low but have been disappointed with the loss of various products that used to be in the stores and the lack of understanding by corporate ordering for small communities by sending non-food products to fill aisle ends and crowd the aisles with displays. Many products I used to purchase are no longer available in store in an alternate brand. I still travel to Athabasca once a week, so I know this is not a "Boyle is a smaller store" problem. It is frustrating to still have holes in my shopping list that require me to check other stores, or in the case this Christmas with trying to find candied ginger, learning to make it myself.I hope that corporate will work with the managers of the Buy-Low stores to understand that a "one type top-down store experience" doesn't transfer from a large scale Save-On to a small Buy-Low store. A Buy-Low store should be more like a No Frills, rather than trying to be like an Independent and carry home goods, mittens, squishmallows, and books.I love the staff at Boyle Buy-Low and they do an excellent job at providing good customer service. My review is 4 stars because of the staff and the years of excellent service, minus a star for the last year of the Save-On change over. ?

Great local store. The potato wedges are amazing. Bread for $1.79 on sale. Can't go wrong. The manager Lyle is a great guy and has personally gotten me items from the back when the shelf was sold out. Can't beat that service. Thanks

As a faithful patron of this store forever, I have become very disappointed with the changes Save on Foods have made. My 4star review probably should actually be less, but afraid it would reflect badly on the store and it's staff and that is NOT the problem. Because Save on Foods no longer carries the products that my family and I like and have used forever. I and MANY of my neighbour's and community people cannot be faithful any longer. I fear that the corporation fails to understand that we shopped there because we liked the products carried there and do not like the new brands and products that have been introduced. This is and has been a great store, well run, friendly and customer appreciated. The staff have been great through the years and still are, but hopefully you can see the issue before you totally loose your customers. I am speaking for MANY whom I meet else where so we can enjoy our meals.

Good little store but it used to be better. I am celiac and they used to have little signs under all the gluten free foods. Since they changed to being a Save on Foods subsidiary those signs and many gluten free products seem to have gone away. Very disappointed as this leaves me to have no choice but to shop in the city for things I used to get here.

The store may be small but they have everything you need! I love the daily deals which offer excellent value making any in between shop well worth the visit.Ailes may be tight but the store is clean and well stocked with everyday items.
