The Best Little Wordhouse in the West is likely to be the most charming bookstore you will probably ever step foot into. Elizabeth, the owner, is exceptionally warm and friendly. Gentle classical music transports you to the Regency period while you stroll between aisles and browse through the vast array of book titles. The store also offers DVD rentals, which have come in handy for cozy movie nights with the family. It is perfectly charming and a wonderful place to spend an afternoon.

Been in here a couple of times since moving to Bragg and I always find something new to read. Huge selection of gently used books,Practically wall to wall!There are also journals, clothing and some other items but I am mostly impressed with how many unique books end up in this store that would be hard or expensive to find elsewhere.Overall it's a quiet, friendly space with tons of browsing material.

Randomly came across this book store today and I will definitely be a return customer! So many books, and in great shape. They had some books I hadn't been able to find at big box stores. Wonderfully organized - wall-to-wall books. Its a book worm's dreamland.

A few things. A) I'm a bookworm. B) I don't just read any and all books that cross my path. I have standards. C) I've combed through most bookstores around and beyond.
Here's a fact - this tiny second hand bookstore in the middle of nowhere is a freaking treasure trove. I don't know how nor why the cosmos have come together at this particular point but they have. I've combed through a multitude of stacks at various B&Ns, Chapters/Indigos, Half Price Books, and family owned this and that. Never before have I found the collection that I've found here. Everything! Everything I've been looking for was here except for two items. And I've been looking for years people. Years! For some of these items. Everywhere I looked- literally- was a book on my list. To say I was like a kid in a candy store is a gross understatement. More like a kid that had swam in a chocolate fountain that sprinkled Hershey's kisses running through a field of peppermint daisies that tasted like every great memory. Yep that's a better description. Anywho, we will be back.
