I have shopped here for years. I love the products, and I love the owner. I wanted to shop there to make sure they stuck around. Today I walked out and will never be back. There is one employee that I dread seeing when I walk in the door. He is exceptionally rude and extremely unhelpful. He has told me in the past when I asked if they had a case of my favorite wine, that I wasn’t allowed to buy a case, because that may not leave enough on the shelf in case someone else wanted a bottle. I was under the impression that making sales was the point of being in business. I have tried to be friendly, and just regret walking in the door. He never offers suggestion, never offers to help bring the individual wines to the counter, never offers to help pack, never ever offers to help carry the wine to the car, just leans against the. Punter with his arms crossed giving me a dirty look. Unlike the owner who does all of the above with a smile.
My husband refused to shop there a long time ago, and I have referred them to many friends who live in the area, they also refuse to shop there. All because of this one male employee..
The minute I walked in today I regretted it when I saw he was working. He didn’t let me down, was even more rude than ever before. Walked out will not be back.

They always have a great selection of wines in here they have a big cold beverage cave and a wide selection of beverages on display. We went for a wine tasting and have a thoroughly fantastic time.

Was very happy and impressed that the owner took time to explain different whiskeys and recommend a couple of new choices for me. Very knowledgeable. Top shelf quality product and service, will be back again.

Who was working around 1111 today was completely rude, showed no friendly customer service and based on our skin colour she gladly welcomed the next person behind us. I'm upset. I was completely unsatisfied. Don't work in customer service if you don't treat all customer equally.

Loved this place! It has a laid back, approachable vibe. It takes the pretentious out of wine and makes it easy to navigate. I will be back!

Its rare to find a store that has staff that they know what they are talking about AND had an amazing selection. Not to mention the coolest looking liquor store we have ever been in! Prices are comparable to the city for non sale items. Alison and Bob are always a pleasure to deal with!

I've never had a merchant tell me to f-off when all I asked was for him to honour the deal he made with the supplier of a limited edition single malt spirit. I'm not usually one to spend time dissing anyone, but this is one merchant doesn't deserve to stay in business because of the way he treated me, a veteran on Remembrance Day 2021.

This place used to have the best international selection of wine. It is now a mediocre attempt to sell high end wine but cannot deliver the goods. I bought the most highly priced wine item they had today wrapped in special paper only to find it is not even corked but a twist off and now tasting it it is patheyic. I am used to high end Penfolds Bin which they used to have. They dont even carry Penfolds or Argentinian Trumpeter a great Sulphite free Wine. Having lived a worked in more than 35 countries. To be greeted by a wanna be red neck who thinks he knows wine on an internstional scale is pathetic at best. The lady was all about just sell sonethingNo clue. Been away since 2004..bring it back to what it was.
