I really hate to leave a bad review but I hope it will help someone in the future. I was driving through Camrose on my way to Lethbridge when I noticed an issue with my car and decided to have it checked out just to be safe. I called A and D and Norm asked me to swing by so they can have a look. Was in the shop for almost two hours as they checked my car out. They told me that I’d make it to Lethbridge just fine and I can have my mechanic fix it as it was labour intensive but not a major concern (something to do with my engine) . In hindsight I can’t help but wish I paid a closer attention to the red flags. With the assurance from people I considered thorough and professional off I was on my way back. A little over an hour later my power went off on the highway and after a second assessment the engine had a huge hole in it. I either have to get a new engine or have the car totalled. I was out freezing in -20, with bad cell service before any help could get to me. I just don’t understand why someone would put my life at risk like that. Norm had stated that I owed him a call to let him know that I got home safe. I called him 24 hours later when I finally made it home, and shared what had happened on my way home. Norm stated that I looked like I really wanted to get home and was so quick to get off the phone with me. He wasn’t the kind and charming person I had interacted with earlier. There’s definitely no justification to withholding information especially on such a serious issue. I wasn’t in a rush enough to risk losing my life. I had no problem having the car towed home and finding my way back. The level of unprofessionalism and carelessness has not only left me with a huge bill but a bad taste in my mouth.

I didn’t have an appointment and needed some advice with my radiator and phoned in and the owner said swing by and we’ll take a look. I came by and got some advice free of charge. These guys are great. Very polite and respectful.
