“I was in Canmore staying with my son and his lovely wife, Janet, last week. Janet and I spent some awesome time looking and shopping in Alberta’s Own Marketplace and came home smiling. The girl who worked with us was so kind and friendly and that was just what I needed emotionally that day. We bought some sweet pottery and a ‘Lake Minnewanka cribbage board’ for my son who just happens to be the Mayor of your wonderful town. He was surprised and said he will always treasure it. The pottery has come home with me to Edmonton. Thank you for a really nice shopping experience.”
“Avens Gallery is truly amazing gallery highlighting the work of dozens of talented artists. We purchased a lovely painting from Julia Veenstra that will be the centerpiece of our home. Not being Canadian, we were slightly intimidated with buying art due to shipping and international duties. But Betti and her staff made sure the process was totally easy. Betti and the staff is what separates this Gallery from the others. The level of care, detail, and service is beyond anything that we have ever experienced. “This is a magical little gym in the Canadian Rockies. You spend all day outside Hiking or skiing pushing your body. And at night, you can go to the Carter Ryan gallery and nourish your mind. I have seen a number of protections here and haven’t been disappointed by one. It’s a secret that needs to be told.”
