Just went to bank to deposit cheque and the Bank closed my account. I even has someone from bank call 2 weeks ago asking if i was going to keep my account open due to it having a negative balance of $0.12 I have done no activity with this account for months and only the monthly fees we being taken out that caused it to negative. Even went there today to put finds i to account has said to agent on phone 2 weeks ago. Now they want me to do the whole process again of opening a new account. NOPE. Not a chance am i opening an account again when i already had an account and someone from bank even called me to confirm. If they have this poor communication with their process over my personal account over $0.12 how can i trust to bring my business account with amount insanely larger

Positive/Professionalism/ResponsivenessI have been dealing with this branch for over 20 years.The best bank I've ever dealt with. Has a small-town vibe. Great staff!The service is always great! I have my personal account with this branch and my business accounts. They have always been a class act. The person who gave 1 star has problems obviously.LLoyd

Employee who answered the phone at Canmore location was not up for helping a potential member. It is ok not to know every procedure but not willing to ask around to make sure she knows all as she acted is not acceptable.I was advised to balance transfer from different credit union in Alberta as I'm not able to go to Calgary at this moment. This employee at Bow Valley credit union did not understand this at all and kept asking me back how that made sense. Of course it wouldn't make sense to her if she doesn't know. Instead of asking other colleagues if there is such a thing, what would be best for this situation, She kept arguing there is no such a thing but I need to wire money. Wiring money wasn't what I wanted to do.I asked to leave a message to a financial advisor and apparently I needed a permission. She didn't transfer me to a FA's phoneline but asking what is regarding, what would it have to do with FA? and I didn’t end up getting to directed to FAI understand there could have been a miscommunication or misunderstanding but it is not acceptable to have such horrible attitude when it is your job to help members.I double checked this with credit union who had advised me initially, different agent advised me the same thing. There is a procedure and paperwork for my situation.

Thank you Grace! and co-workers. Great service. Was on a tight schedule. Called the branch who was able to assist us with expediting a transaction that gave us the valuable time to make it before the other banks closed. Well done and thanks again.
