Rented bikes some bikes from gear up , went out to Banff to ride the Bow Valley parkway. Unfortunately out of the 4 bikes we had issues with one of them and ended up struggling a bit out on the trail.
Upon returning at the end of the day the owner was very understanding and helpful. Ended up comping all 4 of the bikes which was above and beyond. Very good experience to deal with , would recommend to anyone looking to rent some gear.

We rented some climbing helmets. Unfortunately we weren't able to use them. When we returned them the owner didn't charge us. We weren't expecting it and we wouldn't even have told him that we didn't use them had he not asked us for why we rented the helmets. On the day we rented the helmets the worker there was very friendly and helpful as well. Gave us lots of info and tips

E bike rental is the best way to see the area and this is absolutely the best place to rent them. The staff at the shop made the process so easy we were in and out in five minutes. Top notch service end good well maintained bikes. Highly recommend GearUp

They provided free bear spray rental, so it was great to carry around while hiking, and it was convenient to return it after business hours by putting it in the black box in front of the store door.

We stayed at the chalets next door and this was a great option to have within walking distance - accommodating and friendly staff - kids loved riding in the bike carriages!
