This toy and discovery store is fantastic. Such a great selection of items that I have not seen elsewhere. I purchased several items and also added a few to my list to purchase for Christmas. Very friendly and attentive staff. Items well laid out. A pleasure to stop into.

love their calico critters most! i was recently there and these employees, i believe their names were melanie and kyla (correct me if im wrong) but they were so incredibly kind. absolutely amazing service, should both get a raise or somesort! 10/10 would come back again. love this place!

We LOVE shopping at Hijinx. The best adventure toys, a carefully curated selection and super helpful staff. This is a must-stop if you're visiting Canmore or if you're shopping for kiddos! Best toy shop in the Rockies!

We brought our extremely chatty 3 year old son in while they were setting up new displays in the front window, and both ladies in the shop took the time to chat with him about the toys he thought were cool. My son is asking, "can we go back to see my friends at the toy shop in Canmore again soon?" Also, amazing selection of toys for kids. All the goodies you have trouble finding in Canada seem to be there. Will be back and continue supporting them!

They had the BEST selection! Went in looking for a puzzle during the intense Covid lockdown months and the gentleman at the counter was super knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I was able to get the most beautiful puzzle of a local photograph of Morraine Lake. Can't wait to return and support this amazing local gem!

Came with my husband and son who wanted a toy. Husband had a coffee in his hand, staff member told him he had to leave cause he had a drink.....Ummmmmm really? We cannot be the only people in the world who purchase a coffee (from a coffee shop with a lid on it) and walk around downtown Canmore. They said that its store policy....well, ill be honest. If Covid is hitting businesses so hard, this is clearly not the way to treat customers. Needless to say we walked right out and they lost our sale. Ended up going to Banff that day and buying him something there. If management is reading this, you clearly need to speak to the two girls working put front. They were rude and lost you a sale.
