My wife and I have collected Marylin Kinsella's work for more then 20 years, ever since we began to visit the Rockies from Calgary. I have recommended her to friends and family for all those years. Recently, James helped me choose and frame a print as a gift. He went out of his way to have it finished and ready for me the next morning since we were planning to leave town at that time. He did an excellent job, and it caused me to seek his expertise once again.

I Went in to the store on my lunch break from work . I was inquiring about purchasing picture frames for a few prints that i had . I had the worst customer experience i have ever had living in the valley . The level of arrogance was extremely disappointing. I will never step foot in this place again . Nor will i recommend to anyone in the future.

I went in manly just to check out the store. I met James who was nice to chat with. They do have some very nice supplies although I ended up purchasing some lovely art cards of local artist Kinsella.

It's absolutely worth stopping in here while you're in town. Not only does it have a good variety of art supplies, all reasonably priced, and beautiful artwork by local artist Marilyn Kinsella, but also because James, the owner, is incredibly friendly, lovely to chat with and very talented in framing artwork to further enhance its beauty. Stop by if you can!

In 2006 we bought 2 of Marilyn's prints and visited her in her studio where she kindly added a mount to the picture of Moraine Lake and continued the picture onto the mount and then signed it for us. Lovely lady and great pictures.Dave, Winchester, England

James' framing exceeded my expectations! The frame and mat choices he helped me to select were perfect, which was really challenging because the old prints had yellowed quite a bit in their former frames. In their new frames and mats, the two prints were not just restored, they were reinvigorated! Plus, James had researched the artist's background and attached a copy of the biographical information to the back of the frame. I couldn't be happier with the results. Superb! James went above and beyond.

We have several Marilyn Kinsella pieces which we are proud to own. We needed a repair to one of our limited edition prints. Although James Frames did not do the original framing work, he took it apart and re-mounted the piece and reassembled it to better than new! Dropped off on a Friday, picked up on Monday! Awesome service and a wonderful gentleman to chat with about Marilyn and her work. Thank you so much James!!

I came here last summer before deciding to move to Canmore and had a chat with the owner.I was looking to purchase acrylic paints and other materials here for plein air painting and he was really helpful in ensuring that I would be getting everything I needed.His kindness was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. The quality of the paint brushes and acrylic paints are wonderful and remind me of my trip every time I use them.

I needed some art supplies during this period of social isolation. I was able to order and pay for them by phone. Ten minutes later I came by the store, James put them in the back of my vehicle and I was good to go.Efficient with no risk. Great job!
