Great customer service. Went in branch to open up my son's students accounts and Bhavna was just amazing. She also advised us to open up RESP account and explained the benefits of that account. Everyone was great and welcoming. Keep up the good work. ?

Terrible customer service every single time, Melissa is extremely rude, condescending, no concern with helping customers at all. The rest don't know what they're doing and look to her for instruction, so the terrible service unfortunately gets passed down to new employees. I was a customer for 17 years and finally closed my account. After that amount of time one would expect something along the lines of "what would change your mind". Instead, "let me guess, going to another bank?" and then proceeded to make the experience as difficult as possible. Some people should not be client-facing... good riddance.

I’ve had absolutely the worst experience with RBC Canmore. The first advisor did everything wrong with opening my account, and ended up closing my account which I never advised, since last year till now I have not been able to use the debit, or credit card I got from RBC, and also auto deposit to my account and no one has been helpful in rectifying that. Second advisor I was given when I booked an appointment, it’s been bad communication I’ll send several emails but no response. I’ve done everything I was asked but nobody is giving me any feedback, I’ve reached out severally but no response. The only reason I’m using RBC is because my school partnered with them, else I’ll just stick to my Scotiabank. My friends also have bad experiences with this branch.

Exceptional customer service every time I walk-in. The whole team is there to help! I make manual deposits for work and personal banking quite often and they’re friendly, competent, and given the ability to help. The Bank Manager Miss. Pushkarna has gone above and beyond to ensure banking with RBC is easy and hassle-free and this is consistent with how we’ve always been treated by her and everyone at this branch. Love that everyone is so knowledgeable and supportive and takes time to explain when it comes to our banking needs. The maximum I had to wait to be helped during busy hour was five minutes. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Terible experience, as a newcomer to canada, I wanted to open an acount. They gave me a phone, and the whole proces was taking place through the phone with a lady, that was constatly seling me some products. In the end most of my information was dialed in wrong and I had to correct it. It took over hour and a half. After all that I am still not able to connect to my acount on-line. Worst customer experience in my life so far. Dont recommend. If i could I would give 0 stars

I’ve had ongoing issues since December 5th with my RBC bank account being compromised by fraudulent activity which was mostly refunded from RBC thankfully. However the 4th and final time my account was hacked, the branch manager offered me an advance on the refund since it normally takes several business days to be re-deposited. This seemed like a much deserved gesture until I received my next payroll deposit from my employer shortly after, and RBC branch in Canmore had the audacity to take that refund back out of my personal payroll unexpectedly. I’ve visited the branch twice since then and I am blatantly being refused the refund that was taken from my payroll until I bring a receipt of my device being cleaned professionally which I cannot afford after all the theft occurrence in my bank account recently. They are also refusing to simply print a statement for me, or close my account, until I bring them a receipt for my previous device. I have banked with RBC for over a decade and never had any issues until this, and I can honestly say this is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. As well, for them to take the refund back out of my account is simply wrong weather or not we consider the fact that RBC is a multi-million dollar corporation who does not need to take a clients grocery funds and withhold it in return for a receipt. This is terrible client treatment. In conclusion, I’ve personally spent over 10 hours inside the branch on the phone with the security department with absolutely no resolution, and having more money taken/lost than prior to going into the bank. I’ve never left a review on google before, but this has affected my quality of life so extensively since December that I feel the need to make it known.

Was stiffed on a large delivery for an after hours staff function at this branch. Not sure if it was management or the company floating the bill, but in a country where its customary to tip the folks in the service industry may I suggest making your own food at home if it's too much money to pay for our services. We put a priority on your order to have it prepared and delivered at a specific time, and not only did I essentially make the delivery for free, but I will also be tipping the hard working kitchen staff on your behalf out of my own pocket. Hope it was tasty though!

RBC client for many years. Unfortunately, the dismal customer service at the Canmore branch, from the tellers right through the management, is enough to warrant changing banks. If you value being able to access your money, when you want from where you want, don't put it in the hands of this branch.
