Have supported this amazing groceteria for years. I did notice several lineal feet of Valbella products still on their shelves. I suppose they actually believe that Jeff Von Rotz has magically been cured of his hard core hateful rhetoric, or was his tepid contrition simply a business decision? While I won't ever support Valbella again, Rusticana is still on my list. Just too bad I have to walk past all that food that curdle my stomach.

Though the space is limited here they have a decent selection of items. I noticed that they sell a few local items as well.

I came here looking for pasta to cook and ending up leaving with other vegan grocery items including bagels and cashew cream cheese. The food counter was closed for the evening when I came so I didn’t try the food but it was great and convenient for some quick grocery items. They have a parking lot for customers around the back.

Have you ever enjoyed the magic that is the Japanese konbini? This reminded me of that, but with an alpine spin. Ready to eat, lots of charcuterie items, single serving sticky toffee pudding, energy shots, even egg salad sandwiches. Add onto that some very fancy shampoos and hand soaps and you've got a very enticing store. It's not cheap, but I think they've nailed their market. Perfect for the tourist who needs to pick up some beer next door and some banana bread for the a.m. Recommend the butter tart slice!

Deli: Delicious sandwiches and friendly staff. We tried the grilled vegetable panini and brie with cranberry chicken. Both were delicious. Pricier than a regular cellophane wrapped grocery sandwich, but well worth it if you enjoy food.
Store: The rest of the store looks clean and organized with a good selection of things you would need when visiting. Given the location, it's very convenient downtown, but admittedly pricier too given that and the fact that it's carries more unique items.

Love this corner store/deli. It's my go to for charcuterie, a quick prep meal, a sandwich to go, or just to walk over and grab a jug of milk. Friendly staff, great selection!

Rusticana is my go to place to pick up and sandwich or some snacks when I'm in a hurry. They have a wide variety of food and produce for one to create a memorable meal at home. Thanks for evolving over the years and for keeping things fresh!

Coming to Canmore over the years I’ve been very fortunate to watch Rusty’s grow and evolve. Each time I visit they seem to have more and more to offer. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. A real “jack of all trades” location, where you can grab a coffee and some snacks or to stock up on some essentials for the kitchen. Always a fun stop when exploring Main Street!

Just wanted to give a shout out and a thank you to Steph, Josh, and Jennifer at Rusticana Cafe and Grocery. Been coming to Canmore for years and love what they have done to the place. Great food, coffee and Gluten free selection and information. Hands down if you would like no nonsense great food,coffee, and need some groceries/snacks for the fridge, this is the place to go.Or if you're killing time while your partner is in surgery...?Best customer service in town too!! Thank you again, see you on the next visit!!???
