No access to ATM after hours. The slot to insert your card for after hours doesn’t work. So before 930 and after 1600 you can’t have access to the ATM. Please make some changes to make the ATM accessible, what is the purpose of having ATM if you don’t have access to them

I am a customer of the Scotia bank since more than one year. If you’re looking for a non-existent customer service, rude bank employees and a bank which loses your savings (1000$), you can definitely be a customer of Scotia bank. I did an international transfer to France (my native country) in February. Even after 1 month, I didn’t receive the money in my French bank account. I called the customer service 2 times and was put on hold for a long time. These 2 calls cost me 200 euros because I was calling from France. After waiting for 4 months, I still haven’t received the money and nobody is able to give me any answer or solution. The Canmore Branch Staff behaved very rudely with me. They did not reply to my first email for a whole week and after sending another reminder email they refused to help me
(I asked for an email address for the Scotia Bank customer service). In the past, I have done international transfers with other Canadian banks without any trouble. DON’T BE A CUSTOMER OF SCOTIA BANK.

I recently had the pleasure of interacting with Jinger at Scotiabank in Canmore, AB. I must say, the service I received was exceptional. She went above and beyond to assist me with my banking needs at the 11th hour before travelling internationally.

Jinger and her team have been amazing to work with! Being a first time business owner there's a heck of a learning curve, and they've always had our back. That doesn't mean the solution we're hoping for is what we get, they aren't magicians, BUT they always take the time to work through our questions to help find solutions. We've had good days and bad, but all in we work through it together!

The only good thing about this branch is the friendly banking representatives. Although the bank is empty most of the time it is hard to get an appointment. Trying to open an account you will get an appointment real quick but if you are looking for closing an account (TFSA) well it takes ions for you to even to get to talk to a financial advisor. So I walk in the branch on Thursday 24, November close to 3:45 pm to check if I could close up my TFSA accounts which I had opened in the bank with the help of a former Financial Advisor. I was told that my request was submitted and I had to wait for a few minutes for a call from their representative. Must’ve waited for a good 20 minutes and then I was told that since the were close to their closing time I might not get a call right away and was asked to leave. Next day I did get a call from the banking advisor from Cochrane even though my bank was in Canmore? Trying to get an appointment since but guess I have to leave my job and workAs per the privileged banking associates. Never recommending this branch or bank to anyone.

I came to Google to grab the ScotiaBank hours and phone number, and was surprised to see the Low Reviews. The Canmore Branch Team doesn’t deserve these Low Reviews. We’ve been banking with them for 20+ years at this specific branch, and will continue to bank with them.

Very bad and poor service..they opened my account gave me a debit card without setting up Pin for my debit card.the lady who opened my account was in total denial that she opened my account...I was like what??? Very poor service regret opening an account with Scotia bank..think twice before opening an account with Scotia bank…

I recently transferred my banking, to Scotiabank. I had a mortgage with them and wanted to put all my banking in the one place! On renewing my mortgage, there were far better offers elsewhere. Unfortunately, I didn’t get everything completed, before the end of my 5 years fixed mortgage! I was automatically enrolled in a 6 month fixed (Even though I was told it was open) so, which carried a $6000+ penalty to leave! How is this even legal??? So it seems like you are being pressured (Seemingly blackmailed) to take out another mortgage with them! Do NOT let your mortgage expire, without renewal! As soon as I complete my 6 months, I will never have anything to do with Scotiabank again!! I thought CIBC were bad, but I’m going back!!
