I honestly don't write reviews ever, but the experience I had was so negative, I was prompted to share. Thank you to the other people who have left reviews of similar rude interactions, it made me feel like I wasn't the only one.
I went into the store as my last stop with a friend for a day trip. I was excited to see to all the selection and made several laps looking at the items. A child maybe 10 years old came in asking about the crystals to the lady at the front and I overhead them. Any question the kid asked was answered by "you'll have to look" or "they're everywhere" when asked about specific crystals. The kid also remarked about how the selection was great, and they wish they had one in their town, etc. The lady barely responded, even though the kid was excited. I just feel like she shut the kid down, who was obviously passionate and excited about the things in the store, which was unfortunate. This is what I observed in the store before I had my own interaction.
As for my own experience, I went to buy a small crystal and she said she accepted cash or debit. I asked politely just to clarify if she had visa (since it says they accept credit on the door) and she rudely shoved a sign in my face that said cash and debit and pointed at it. I didn't say anything except okay and got my debit card and paid. She started on a rant on how we don't need to live in a cashless society and how my friend and I should carry cash on us for small things like this. I just kept saying "okay" because what else was there to say? She continued and said small businesses appreciate just using cash and how it will charge us as well to use the card and I just said "okay" again. She said that she didn't mean to make me feel bad, but she thinks we should carry cash- and I just said "okay" again and walked out. There was no reason to have the interaction with me as an owner/worker, whomever. As someone working in customer service as well, I think it was inappropriate to act that way to a customer. As for the deal with wanting cash, if you prefer cash: then just accept cash- and I get that's not REALLY what this was about, she was just trying to get her own opinion and points across but she didn't have to make an example out of me to do so. I'm not sure if I will even keep the crystal, I wish I walked out of there as soon as she put the sign in my face. Will not be returning.

Lovely little shop! And Kimberley was a huge help. I ventured in with lots and lots of questions and she patiently listened and explained. I'm so grateful!

Beautiful looking store. Has it organized quite nicely. Quite overpriced though.Sign on door said "Open at 12pm", so we stood in front of the door for 20 minutes with her inside not paying any attention to the door.Finally she opened the door and said, "well we're not normally open on Tuesdays at all, so I'm probably not opening until 12:30 now." We told her this was our last stop before we head home, and her sign says 12pm. She didn't seem to care too much as she peeled the sign off the glass... Then closed the door and locked it again.This was my 3rd time back to this store in 2 days, I was coming back to buy the $345.00 green stone from her window.We took this as a sign it wasn't meant to be.

Visited Canmore with my mom for a day and we happened upon this store and basically loved everything in it. I think I could've bought half the store honestly. My mom loved this wall hanging but couldn't fit it in her suitcase. I reached out to see if I could purchase an item online, and had the most wonderfully sweet interaction with Lynn who was kind enough to meet up with me in Calgary and bring me the item I was looking for! If that's not good customer service and just a kind heart, I don't know what is. Definitely will be coming back anytime I am in Canmore :)

Been wandering alot this year. Always leading me to canmore. I'd always go into the shop. Two months ago, I got a dragon trinket. I told the lovely lady working -Kimberly is her name..that my spirit animal is a dragon. She followed saying we have more than one. I was intrigued as she then told me she does intuitive card readings. A few days ago I got my reading done with Kimberly. I must say my experience was truly something special. I could feel her passion towards the gift the universe blessed her with - as she was tuning in with my spirit guides to pull the cards that my spirit guides wanted me to see. Such a beautiful moment was had which got me feeling extremely grateful for the opportunity. So thank you very much Kimberly and to the 'Spirit of the earth' ??♥️

Very much enjoy this shoppe. The displays are appealing and the products are unique and high quality. Generally a step up from other metaphysical supply stores. Love the sandstone sculptures. Staff are always friendly when asking a question. I pop in whenever I'm out for a stroll in Canmore.

My sisters and mom were in Canmore for a girls weekend and stumbled into your store. Not only did we spend 2 hours on Saturday learning and feeling and becoming, but we came back for more on Sunday! Kimberly gave me the most profound gift of a dime signifying a message from my dad in heaven that we were on the right track. We absolutely loved our time with you and I’m grateful Kimberly also helped me find stones for my sons. She’s so wise and knowledgeable!

We had a great experience here. So much to see in the store and Kimberley was very knowledgeable and helpful. We were fortunate enough to be able to coordinate a reading with her as well while we were in Canmore. It was truly magical, she is a very intuitive soul!
