These guys are crooks I told them to cancel an order because it was not going to arrive on time. It had not even shipped out yet. They refused to do so, and they kept money and I never got the lights. These guys are criminals and should be held accountable for their actions.

Tried to do the right thing and buy local, however, not the best experience. Customer service is not a priority and they seem unwilling to be helpful. Make sure you thoroughly read the return policy there’s a restocking fee and other fees that are not readily disclosed at checkout

If this review was only pertaining to the product (fan), which we purchased, then I'd give a 4.....but the nature of the communications with the store left much to be desired. I'm sure they can do much better as a matter of client service. I also paid for rush order and it came after 6 weeks from the order date. I asked for reimbursement of the rush order....but they ignored each of my requests. It seems they have little pride in their image and less desire to provide sound service.

Nothing to do with lighting store, but who ever was driving the car with the logo on it today on 100 st off the Henday should be ashamed , they drive like they are the only one that matters on the road

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this business. After about a month and a half of waiting patiently to receive my order, I noticed that the product in question was not the one I wanted. So I obviously contacted the company, where the owner himself washed his hands of it with carelessness and arrogance, seeming to believe that its internal "policies" are above consumer protection laws. Although I proved to him that the referencing of his site was misleading; making it easy to believe that it was the right product AND offering him to cover the shipping costs on me to return the product he had sent to me, out of pure good faith, he did not didn't even bother to answer! Too bad since I was considering purchasing from him to complete the renovation work on my house. In short, the after-sales service seriously needs to be reviewed... Not to mention the fact that the packaging (and shipping), for a "glass" item, is frankly questionable. Rather than showing professionalism, I expect him to come and wash his hands of it again and, obviously, place all the blame on me. This is another thing that this company would greatly benefit from working on.

Well, my items showed up almost a month later. The products were as described. Someone finally contacted me after I wrote this review, but I would still purchase elsewhere. I ordered pot light rings and requested a rush order. I received an email saying they took my money. Two weeks later, nothing heard, so I sent an email, nothing heard. I tried the 'live' chat. Nothing heard. Almost three weeks now, and all I know is that they took my money. Very disappointing. I don't like writing negative reviews, but this purchase was worth mentioning.

I purchased a dining room light from Starlight almost a year ago. Now it’s not working correctly. I am now trying to find out what to do about the warranty. I have emailed, tried the “chat” option and called many times. No one ever answers the phone. I have left voicemails as well but no one will respond. I am starting to wonder if this company is still in business! I don’t know what to do from here. I am so disappointed. They seemed so great and helpful up until I paid for my purchase. Expensive lesson! Hope this helps someone out there thinking about dealing with the company.

**Updating my review: conveniently an employee responded to my email after posting this review ;) What happened to all my emails from the previous weeks and unanswered phone messages? Sad this needed to be a channel used to contact them. Let’s see if the lights show up!I placed an order for two kitchen pendants on July 4th and it’s been radio silence since. I never received communication that my order was processing or being shipped. Since then I have emailed multiple times, filled out contact forms on the website and called both store locations and left messages. None of this has been responded to. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company as it’s impossible to work with them. I will be going to Visa to reverse the transaction if the lights don’t show up.

I did not have a good experience with this company. I purchased a number of light fixtures on April 10, 2023. When I ordered, I was not provided with a tracking number or an estimated date of arrival. I called the company and emailed once I realized my lights would not arrive on time for when I needed them for the contractor. I emailed Starlight Lighting 4 times, and called multiple times. No one ever answers the phone and the mailbox is full so you cannot leave a message. I was finally able to get through to someone via the chat on their website. They told me they could not cancel the order as it was already being processed by the manufacturer. Ok, not a big deal. I made a plan to return the fixtures when I did get them.Once the fixtures arrived I emailed once again 3-4 times before getting a response. I also called daily, but again no one ever answered the phone. Finally I received a call on May 4, 2023 stating I could return my order and that it would be completed that weekend. It is now May 26, 2023 - I have not heard from the company since May 4, 2023. I have sent emails and called (of course no one answers). I just want to return my products and be done with this company. I would not recommend this company.

Replacement under warranty is an excellent and enjoyable experience.Shipping damage replacement has not been required.Superb quality of all products.Superb and competitive pricing.Staff members are very capable and very helpful.Customer service is outstanding.

Starlight Lighting went above and beyond to help us. We ordered a chandelier (Minka Lavery #4105-84) from them, but we needed extra chain to hang it. Andrew helped us out with this predicament! He contacted the manufacturer, gave us a quote for the extra chain and they included it in the same box as the light fixture. Simply great service! (Also helps that they shipped from Alberta to Ontario!)
