Honestly y’all had me so scared of the showers I went in there loaded up with a gas mask and Lysol wipes ?
Truly though, I’ve seen worse and I’ve been treated worse. The floors could use a good scrubbing and sweep but the shower itself was for the most part fine. Just took about two minutes for the water to come in hot, then it was perfect. Small, but it’s not the first half bath I’ve come across. Paid $7 plus tax.
Just in general I have a recommendation for ALL husky/esso stations. Get rid of all of that meth and drug and sex paraphernalia for christs sake. I’ve never seen anything so disgusting in my life. It’s one of the major reasons I don’t frequent these stops anymore. If you’re going to import cheap goods, make it something people actually want or need to buy. Like a mini excavator or something.
The lady working was quiet but pleasant. Hopefully she’s not working that whole building by herself in GP in the middle of the night.

I’m a pleasant person and friendly to everyone…but, the cashier was completely ignorant right as I said hello. I will never spend another penny in the gas station side.
That said, the restaurant was fantastic, service was phenomenal. Food is Husky fare..so it fills the void and that’s about all.

The restaurant has great food. I always drive from Grande Prairie to there just for the food and have so for years. It’s way better than most places in the city aside from Ricky’s. The convenience store and bathrooms are always clean and all the staff are nice and friendly. It’s a nice quiet atmosphere, which I like. I’ve been to many other restaurants in the city where you can’t hear yourself talk, little lone think ?

Well 2 nights ago after a long drive i was desperate for a shower, so when I saw how gross they were I tried to make the best of it... now I have athletes foot.
Never had it before in my life and I haven't been anywhere else besides inside my semi.
The fuel prices aren't terrible if all you want or need is fuel.
But that aside, the restaurant is terrible, the trucks top side I dirty and way way WAY overpriced for everything, and the shower just gave me a fungus which makes me not a ..."fungi" ?
I knew I should've stayed at the "RMDA

Bought over $1000 in fuel, and paid for two showers then was told it would be $30 for 10 hour parking. Parking lot is a mess with pretty big mud spots (enough to get stuck) and found lag bolts in the mud next to the truck so no real maintenance done to the charged lot. Showers were dirty as well, almost walked out without using them.

I asked why I can’t just fill my vehicle instead of having to go in even with a fuel card (no one is going to steal fuel from this location you can’t even get on the highway easily). Place has stickers that say “pay at pump temporarily unavailable” well get some different signage cause it’s been like that for more than 5 years. Buddy said it’s an extra charge to have them working… so you’re just cheap then. They’re always rude too doesn’t seem to matter who’s working

No pay at pump, staff in store are incredibly rude. The 5 cents I save is almost not worth it anymore. Good thing the restaurant and lounge is a great place to visit.

I love this gas station, best price for gas and the Asian lady is always so nice :) it’s always open 24 hours too so if I really needed something or was sick and needed Gatorade I always come here. They sell some sketchy stuff but it’s a trucker stop so it’s to be expected. I wouldn’t bring children inside the gas station.

Should be 0. Only 2 stars for the price of fuel here. Sometimes it's even cheaper than Costco. Not really worth the couple of bucks you might save, though. Pumps are slow, most don't lock, pay at the pump doesn't work, staff is difficult and rude...they had a smashed up pump with tape around it for about a year... rather go the the Clairmont store, or into GP. Saw someone wrote this and sums it up pretty well.

10$ for a shower would be fair if a couple of things were present.1. Have a room big enough to undress and place your clean clothes somewhere. The folding chair was a valiant attempt to have somewhere to put things.2. Hot water. Though I do like to finish with cold water, I do NOT like to start and finish with only cold water.3. Have a sink for personal hygiene. Most drivers don't want to watch me shave and brush my teeth in the bathroom sink.4. Not charge full price when you really only offer 1/3 of what a common truck stop shower offers.At least I now know not to come here for a shower next time.On the good side.1. Come here for all you weed and meth smoking pipes and devices.2. The store is very well stocked and fairly clean for a very busy location.3. The coffee bar is really good and has all the regular amenities4. Good selection of fresh in store food options.
