Had the most positive friendly experience at Legacy...was never pushed or talked in to buying my truck or any other accessories. Tammy and David were so helpful and kind...if you are looking to purchase a new vehicle...Legacy Claresholm is the place to go!

After doing a summer to winter tire exchange, both sets of tires on rims, i had to fill the 2 back tires with air. This should have been checked by mechanics. Brand new truck and brand new tires.

Chantelle and Cory took awesome care of our needs, even though we ended up coming there when they were about to close.Problem was diagnosed immediately, and reset.
Problem came back in morning called and they had our 2025 hellcat in right away. But due to heat issues we had to leave it overnight.we were given a brand new Jeep. Thanks again for your great service. Rob and Sophia Webber.

Legacy Dodge Claresholm Sold Us a $30,000 Truck Full of Problems.
We bought a 2016 Ram 1500 Limited in November 2024. From the start, we mentioned rough idle and high RPM, but the dealership said “it’s nothing.” It later turned out to be a costly cylinder 3 misfire — $8,500 total, $3,500 out of pocket.
A few weeks later the air suspension failed. We took it back, and a few days later they simply called my husband telling him he owed $1,800 because they’d only covered half the cost to convert it to standard suspension. It was our first problem, so he just accepted it thinking “things happen.”
When we traded in our old truck, it had brand-new tires my husband had just bought. He asked to swap them onto this truck but was told not to worry because the Ram’s tires were “brand new” and better. Now the sidewalls are cracking. Their “fix” was to give us used tires.
We even had to fix the starter recently. After multiple emails with no response, the manager still tried to upsell us a pricier truck instead of addressing the issues.
In less than a year we’ve spent thousands and the problems keep coming. Poor service, dishonesty and no accountability. Beware buying from Legacy Dodge Claresholm.

By Jaquie Duhacek, Founder and Director of Alberta Food Rescue and Distribution
On January 1st, 2024, I suffered an ischemic stroke, resulting in brain damage and severe physical limitations. Nineteen days later, while still in recovery and unable to even drive, Legacy Dodge Claresholm pushed me into signing a vehicle contract sight unseen.
I had no in-person meetings with a sales agent, finance manager, or supervisor. No one explained the contract. No one walked me through the terms. No one witnessed the signing of the final documents. The vehicle was never brought for a test drive — even when I specifically asked.
They also lowballed my trade-in by more than $15,000 from what was owing, and rushed the deal without regard for my medical condition or capacity to consent. When I reached out asking for help after realizing what had happened, I was told “there’s nothing we can do.”
The new manager has now tried to spin this around on me, claiming my truthful accusations are threatening. Let me be absolutely clear:
I am not threatening anyone. I am exposing unethical and predatory business practices.
As if that wasn’t enough, after the deal was completed, Legacy Dodge promised to host a fundraiser for my nonprofit, Alberta Food Rescue and Distribution — an organization that has fed tens of thousands across Alberta. When I followed up on the promise, they started dodging and backtracking. That fundraiser never happened. They never followed through.
I am now paying for a vehicle I cannot drive, locked into a contract that was built on lies, silence, and manipulation. I’ve dedicated my life to protecting vulnerable people. This time, I was the vulnerable one — and Legacy Dodge exploited that.
This is what predatory selling looks like in Alberta. And I will not stay silent.
