I had a very uncomfortable experience with one of the workers. Ryder. I think that’s his name? He followed me around the store, WAITED until I was ready to pay, to accuse me of stealing! I had a gift card and was trying to explain to him, I in fact was not shoplifting, and wanted to pay. I told him he could check my bag however he declined and said “I dont need to check it, i already know youre stealing.” I then said “please get your manager, i would like to speak to her about this.” he replied with “you dont need to see my manager, im friends with her son, she’ll believe me.” as he laughed and kicked me out of the store. Dont think i’ll ever be going back there, how disrespectful and rude, check your cameras and you’d easily see i was not shoplifting.

A little bit of an uncomfortable experience ?! The store is very clean and organized, but the staff did not make me feel welcome when I walked in. There were many boxes on the left side of the store, so the two workers in the back I do NOT blame for even looking my way as I also work inventory and understand that it can be very focus required and tiring, but the others did not even give me a “hello”, or even a smile. I understand retail can be a very stressful job, but I did feel a little stressed myself going in there because it felt like I wasn’t wanted ? I get customers can be a slog sometimes, so I hope this just means the workers were having a tiring day (we all have them!) and nothing telling about management ☹️. Overall a great place for good sales and decent clothing despite my uncomfortable experience ? The jewelry is always fun to look at too!

Had a great experience at this location. All the staff were very friendly and personable! Very helpful anytime I had a question or needed help finding a size.

Prices are fair, product is nice. I've never had any issues coming here , infact I've always found the staff were nice and helpful :) the store is also always tidy and well organized.

Was at the Ardenes with my wife a two daughters never been in a place in cold lake where the most of the staff was pretty rude and not helpful whatsoever it seemed like they paid attention to us more in the sense that we might try steal something instead of asking us if we needed anything never taking our business here again

If your in a rush dont go here the check out lady takes for ever slowly folding everything and i could hardly hear her i thought i talked quiet but i still didn't even hear what she said so i just guessed

Merchandising is difficult in stores like this, but I find it a particular nightmare at this location. Hooks filled with hardware rather then actual product at the front entrance doesn't bode well for what you'll find inside.Customer service lacking. I'm not looking for a personal stylist but a "how's it going" and the occasional follow up wouldn't be out of place. I'd be curious to know what their shrink is like with employees seemingly so indifferent.Two stars because I've seen improvements in employee attitude at checkout. Being kind to those you take money from is more or less the bare minimum but at least that's been figured out.

The only reason I go to the Ardenes in Cold Lake is because I love the store itself. EVERY TIME I'm at the store I am never greeted, never asked if I need help, never ask if I need a change room with a handful of clothes, never offered help with sizes when trying on clothes, never told to have a good day after payment. There is literally no interaction the entire time that I've been in the store. I was in with crutches today and there were about 6 employees working, and not a single one offered up any sort of help at all. about 3 of them seen me struggling carrying articles of clothing and trying to crutch over to the change room. Then proceeding to take everything to the counter myself. I would have brought my own help if I could have, but it wasn't an option. Besides the point; The customer service is SHOT in this store, completely terrible every time. I always leave there so irritated. & judging by the other reviews, I am not the only one that thinks so. What is going on in this store?? No other Ardenes or retail store I've been in has this sort of service.
