Clothing Stores in Cold Lake, AB

“Hello,
I made an out of character stop in the Cold Lake store today. I was sent by my husband to find an outfit for a holiday party. I haven’t done much shopping for myself in years as I have gained a pile of weight and just feel blah about buying clothes.
Today at the store I was greeted by Allison/Alison. She asked a few questions about what I like to wear and the type of event I would be attending. Then she ran her behind off finding items for me. Even have me pretend to pick something up off the ground to see if I was comfortable and able to move well in a skinny skirt. She was funny, well versed in the stock, and made excellent options for me to choose from.
Her coworker was on lunch as it was that time of day but Allison managed to help me as well as other customers. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so well in my life. At the till I was uncertain if I should purchase all the items I wanted as things add up quickly. She assured me I’d be pleased with my total due to the current promotions. She was correct again! I left the store with 2 outfits and a bit of bounce in my step. I asked her name before I left as I was determined to forward her kindness on in some form of review. So here it is.

She took the time to answer my questions, helped me find the right sizes and styles, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident with my purchase. “A little bit of an uncomfortable experience ?! The store is very clean and organized, but the staff did not make me feel welcome when I walked in. There were many boxes on the left side of the store, so the two workers in the back I do NOT blame for even looking my way as I also work inventory and understand that it can be very focus required and tiring, but the others did not even give me a “hello”, or even a smile. I understand retail can be a very stressful job, but I did feel a little stressed myself going in there because it felt like I wasn’t wanted ? I get customers can be a slog sometimes, so I hope this just means the workers were having a tiring day (we all have them!) and nothing telling about management ☹️. Overall a great place for good sales and decent clothing despite my uncomfortable experience ? The jewelry is always fun to look at too!”
