“There has been a huge change in staffing personnel at this branch since COVID 19 restrictions have been lifted. In the more recent months the customer service tellers have been notably referring to other staff personnel for clarification regarding bank policies or procedures when serving customers during banking transactions. Overall there has been no customer service issues and I have been pleased with services as rendered by the new staffed team members.To address the closure of RBC bank branches, our region was one of many that experienced the closure of a RBC branch, offering services for personal and business banking, in a smaller community, just outside the trading region of Drayton Valley. It has been disappointing losing the local Evansburg RBC Branch over the past year but I've been trying to adjust my banking habits to accommodate the new change. Recent changes to progress to a total e-commerce banking system have not always been successful as a fully-featured bank brach (storefront) holds significant amounts of economic stimulus and is the foundation of community growth and economic development. The problem with finding a in house services branch VS online banking services isn't the only way banks as storefronts contribute to the best in business profits and I believe that the closure of this local branch will have more significant data to show that the current local economy is still a economic market that is still losing $$$ even though the branch has not been open or operational for many more years to come.”
