First time since the new changes to traffic and passenger pick up etc.The traffic directors were SUPER Helpful and very courteous. Most traffic is diverted to park for pick ups, but when I asked about picking my elderly father in law up with a walker, they very happily directed me to the proper accessible location right at the terminal where the standard pick up spot has always been.Huge Kudos to the parking staff.

This is a relatively quiet airport located about an hour away from Edmonton. The security line up typically takes less than 20 minutes to go through, unlike some of its busier cousins such as Vancouver International or Toronto Pearson. This airport feels relatively older compared to the cousins, but has all the necessary facilities within. The good thing about lack of foot traffic is there are plenty of clean washrooms. The only down side is there is no easy way to reach the airport. Edmonton unfortunately lacks of a reliable airport public transportation (like UP Express or Skytrain). The pick up and drop off area are also very tiny and there is always a traffic jam at this areas.

November 2023 5*My first visit to Edmonton and airport is always the first touch point. The experience was good.Arrival———The arrival was smooth. You can exit very quickly from the boarding gate. Luggage area is good and there is lots of space. You can hire taxi outside but for Uber you need to go to Gate 10 so it is on the other end. There is option to take AirPort Express bus service which can take you to rail station directly.Departure—————-Departure was smooth. We took Train and bus from the downtown and the journey was very smooth. There are plenty of checkin counter. There is separate area for US flight. Security was quick and smooth. There are numbers of shops near boarding gates.

What a delight! Easy to get to, nearby parking, clean, efficient. Most times I fly via YEG it takes me 5-10min only to get through security, no line ups. Sure there are busy times, but as Canadian airports go, this one is doing a great job. Nifty looking control tower (so modern!), convenient to get a rental car and get right out onto the highway. Good shops and restaurants

Very well organized airport. They have shops opposite boarding area so people can enjoy food and shopping till last moment. Better than Toronto pearson Airport. Some facilities they have here not seen at Pearson.

We have a good experience in this airport. Not so crowded, people are nice. Nor so big so walking from arrival to the baggage pickup is not that bad. Shuttle to the car pick up is very convenient...

Clean, creative and comfortable but not conveniently located and Uber from anywhere is minimal 40 dollars to reach there. Love the quaint arts and crafts like emporium showcases and live plants wall and tons of different types of food and drinks places. Some areas with general higher frequency of flights and fliers should be switched over to bigger seating capacity area and given the concerns of airlines now a days, there should be a recliner and sleeper areas for older people and children atleast. Worth the experience in quintessential Canada ??

Nice Airport. Well-managed, clean washrooms and building. Lots of shops, restaurants, ground transportation, and car rental companies. My plane was late and I had some snacks and a beverage at the Canadian Brewhouse to pass the time

It's the easiest location to both arrive into or depart out of Edmonton, if you're looking to fly that is. It's an international airport with international amenities, lounges, restaurants, and stores while you hurry up and wait.

One of the few airports I know that has grown enormously and exponentially while still being convenient and having that small town airport feel. Also there is a lot of art and info on First Nations people, which is really cool.

Best airport yet, even though it's an international airport, I never seen any other airport was this much chill, the people at custom greeted you with a smile "Hello, Bonjour, Welcome" not looking tired or hated their jobs like the TSA people at my local airport, wow seriously, the place was also easy to get around, has plenty of shops for food and refueling your energy, I don't know what more could I ask, well maybe a little history of Canada from sports attractions, they designed everything so well at this place. Not my final destination, but I felt a bit jealous that I wish my airport wasn't chaotic.
