An absolute incredible place. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and provide detailed communication to their customers. Alberta Transmission Service was able to repair my transmission in a very efficient manner. I recommend any person needing transmission repairs to contact Alberta Transmission Service.

Unfortunately needed my older Rav4's transmission rebuilt, Hitesh was lovely and was able to get my car looked at that day (on a Friday before his vacation). Repairs were done on time and my quote was accurate. Although something did not go as planned in the repair, when I took it back to ATS a month later, they took care of the issue at no cost. I really appreciated the honesty and integrity when dealing with that issue. Deven, Kristen and Hitesh were all lovely to work with. I will recommend to others needing transmission work.

Get quote in writing!!!!! Horrible communication. Back in February we brought our son’s car into this shop for a new transmission. At the time we were quoted 2500-4000 total and told 2-3 weeks till it was completed. Perfect. We paid a $2500 deposit at that time. We had to keep calling to find out what was going on and most times they would say they would call back but didn't They had the car for over 2 months and then charged us 2700 more than our quote. They said they had to order the parts which took 2 months. Unfortunately for us we did not get it in writing and got stuck paying over 6700 for the repair. No one ever called to discuss the increase in price so it was a huge shock when we picked up the car. We had no choice but to pay it but I will NEVER deal with this company ever again and I would never recommend this company to anyone. If you do have dealings with this company I strongly suggest you get your quote in writing. We are now out this money and have no recourse due to our trust in what appeared to be a reputable company. Never again!!!
Response to Hitesh - thank you kindly for your rapid response. Where were you when we were calling everyday? I would love to see a copy of the quote that you say was signed. My 17 year old son signed the invoice that was provided upon pick up but there were no other documents provided or signed. It was never communicated that it would take over 2 months to complete nor increased price. If we were given this information we would’ve paid the inspection costs and gotten rid of the car, as we paid less for the car as we did the repair and as you pointed out it is 21 years old. The extra part was paid for and yes installed at no cost as the transmission was already out. Thank you. I am not at all discrediting the work done. The job is complete and the car drives but the issue was the lack of communication, not the quality of the work. So thank you for finally finishing the job you were paid to do ? Next time communicate with your customers!!!

Applied for Receptionist several times. Phone about the position, said it was filled. I told them it was stilled on Indeed they said we have told Indeed to remove them. I was still talking and she hung up on me. Very rude, you don’t hang up on anyone. That’s not great customer service doesn’t matter what you’re calling about. I have a better personality then her.

They seemed very professional & and polite. only downside was I had a date set to have my 2015 Ram looked at but no one ever did get back to me which is fine understand mistakes happen

Great service! They had my truck diagnosed and parts orders one day and were able to get it in the next day and have the work completed. Very friendly and explained everything. Definitely recommend!

This company carefully diagnoses all the possible contribution factors of your transmission problems, stays in contact with the customers, and is upfront with estimated costs.I was told by another shop that “ it was something inside”, and I’d likely be looking at a replacement transmission. The car sat in their yard for 2 months.A friend recommended Alberta Transmission Service for a 2nd diagnosis. They checked all the related wiring and found and fixed the problem. About $400.I highly recommend this business both for their professional and also personable service.Thank you.
