“We have taken 2 special pieces to Frame of Mind - our daughter's post secondary certificates. We wanted them to match as they were complementary programs and will be hung together, and although we had an idea in mind, Sheldon brought it all to life!

They look amazing and the quality is exceptional. Sheldon took the time to walk us through options and really helped refine our vision. The turnaround time was very reasonable, and the final pieces feel sturdy, professional, and ready to hang.

Frame of Mind is a locally owned and operated business that truly cares about its product and its customers. Owners Sheldon and Vanessa give exceptional service, and I will not hesitate to go back for all of our framing needs and refer them onto others with utmost confidence.”

“The work of artists at the renowned Harcourt House is being showcased and sold at the wonderful Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market. A Day at the Beach ~ Richie Velthuis art/sculptures is showcasing at the Harcourt House, Art Incubator Gallery Apr 28 - June 10 2023; Sadly, on July 31,2022 a bell rang 27 times at the Harcourt House Artist Run Centre building, which had been draped in billowing black curtains as imminent closure was faced by the artists. Recently, however Hon. Nicholas Milliken, Minister of Alberta Infrastructure, has granted the W.E.C.A.N. Society/Harcourt House Artist Run Centre a one-year extension to their lease, which will give them until November 30, 2023, to accomplish their fundraising goal and make their home permanent and stable. There are several pieces that have caught my eye in particular the mushroom bowl, toadstool mushroom and the sculpture of the hugging couple..Artists must be supported especially as we face difficult times with chaos in our inner and outer world and need inspiration for personal health and wellness.”

“MINBID uses a different and refreshing approach to showing local artwork and developing a community that supports these artists. Every showing they have brings new opportunities for the up-and-coming Edmonton-area to show and sell their work, meet a lot of fellow artists, and have a great night of partying and mingling. They make artwork more accessible for everyone and help support those that are looking to make the next major steps in their art career. If you have a chance, check out one of their shows and be ready for a truly unique experience!”

“Fun, but the so-called children's gallery was a bit small and the cafe was not open. I'm not even sure if they do have a cafe. But all the exhibitions were cool, really cool.”

“I stopped by this gallery during my visit to Edmonton from Vancouver. They have some nice art selection (currently with lots of west coast landscapes) and the space itself is nice and inviting. The gallery associate working at the time was super friendly and personable. The works that really stood out to me were the David Blackwood pieces in the back.”
