“Absolutely amazing company. Cam Elise are true experts in their field. If you want a top-of-the-line bicycle with top-of-the-line service element is the best choice by far. Last summer, I worked with Cam to build my dream bike from start to finish. He was amazing. His knowledge was incredibly helpful to guide me through the build process.”

“Great experience with Guri getting me fitted for my mid life crises purchase. I felt that he wasn't up selling me at anytime and when the bike I ordered wasn't going to be ready in the spring he did everything to make it work. The 3T Racemax italia is an awesome bike now I just have to get in better shape to match the bikes abilities.”

“Mindy was a GEM. I bought a horrible bike off market place and went in to get it a bit fixed up. Mindy was honest with me but never made me feel dumb for having bought said bike (seriously it was bad and I was warranted a bit of shame). Mindy instead walked me through and tallied the cost of repairs, we then compared it to in shop bikes and Mindy gave me a sick in store deal! If it wasn’t for her kindness and respect I may have just tossed the bike. Now I want to keep learning and riding! Thank you Mindy!”

“Ideally situated at the south end of the High Level Bridge, Redbike has a classic location and old-timey feel that I like. Right next door are establishments that serve coffee, food, and craft beer, and the sunny, south-facing block with a bike lane is a fine place from which to observe or engage in Edmonton's diverse cycling culture.
Perhaps more than any other bike shop in the city, Redbike has been promoting Canadian products for decades, long before made-in-Canada recently became cool again. I even found Canadian chain lube there the other day.
The bikes are an eclectic mix, including sweet mountain bikes, comfort oriented rides, and even electric cargo bikes. Packed to the rafters, it's an impressive selection for a smaller shop. They also offer a well-curated selection of accessories that sets this shop apart from the monoculture of Trek and Specialized bits.
In my experience, the mechanics here are very capable, if occasionally slightly gruff. I once brought in an old CX bike in for a drivetrain replacement and ended up with a wider range of gears, both high and low, than when it was new, making the bike even more versatile and fun. Sometimes they get pretty busy, so best to call ahead to set up your service appointment. Overall, a great shop.”
