About Boyle Street Community Centre
Boyle Street Community Centre has been serving the inner city of Edmonton since 1971, providing support and empowerment to individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness. As a non-denominational organization, they welcome and assist people of all backgrounds, incorporating Indigenous ceremonies in their practice. The centre offers a range of services, including housing support, access to the food bank, and assistance with energy rebates. They also provide free meals, laundry, showers, and clothing to the local community. The staff are described as knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help those in need of financial or medical support. While the centre is highly praised for its caring and inviting atmosphere, some reviewers have suggested the need for more resources and a reduction in wait times to access the services. Overall, Boyle Street Community Centre is recognized as a valuable resource for those in the Edmonton area seeking assistance and support.

We were like 10 minutes late for lunch and kitty litter. They still helped me and I really appreciate that.
