I began my wedding dress shopping journey feeling discouraged and anxious. What was supposed to be a magical, exciting experience had already been overshadowed by disappointment elsewhere, and by the time I arrived for my appointment at Delica, I was mentally prepared for a lack luster experience.

From the moment I stepped through the door, though, everything changed.

Vivienne was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely committed to understanding what I needed. She was wonderful at reading cues, communicating clearly, and making me feel comfortable right away. As someone who isn’t familiar with bridal lingo, I truly appreciated how she asked thoughtful questions and explained different styles, fabrics, and details in a way that helped me visualize exactly what I wanted. She also handled my entourage with such professionalism, ensuring their input was valued while keeping the focus on my vision.

Although I didn’t find my dream dress during my first appointment, I left with something I hadn’t felt before: hope. Vivienne mentioned that Delica would be hosting a Hayley Paige trunk show—the designer of the dress I had been using as my inspiration. After talking it through with her, we agreed it would be worth coming back, so I booked another appointment.

Fast forward to the day of the trunk show—this is what wedding dress shopping is supposed to feel like! I arrived with four dresses in mind that I loved. Vivienne helped me try on each one and guided me through the process of narrowing them down. I was completely torn because I genuinely loved all four, but she asked the right questions, helped me check in with my feelings, and walked me through eliminating them one by one until we reached the one.

I was finally able to say “yes” to my dress, and I truly don’t think I would have had such a special and successful experience without Vivienne and the amazing team at Delica Bridal. Their patience, expertise, and kindness made all the difference.

“I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Bailando and found the stylists to be very knowledgeable! I am a big fan of the designers that they feature.I was looking for a dress that was simple, comfortable, but still had some elegance to it for an elopement. I had found a few that I really liked online, but did not find the same in store - I was also specifically shopping samples as I had booked in a spring sample sale appointment. I am a size 12 and did feel a bit disappointed in the selection for the sale with what I was looking for - I think that I was only shown a couple of dresses in a 12 that had a bit of a discount. I found the sample selection to be very “bridal” (lots of sparkle, tulle, etc) which I am sure is fantastic for many brides, just not what I was exactly looking for.Overall, I would have loved to have found the right dress at Bailando - I think that it is definitely worth a stop for all brides as the vibe is great and the designers featured had stunning dresses! If you are off the rack, I do still think that you should make an appointment in the event that your perfect dress is there!”

I come here whenever I have a special event coming up, but I have to be careful not to think I can window shop otherwise - it's so difficult to resist getting something every time I visit! There is always a wonderful assortment of occasion pieces and less formal wear to choose from. The owner is wonderfully attentive and good at helping you find the right piece. Truly a hidden gem!”

“I went to many bridal shops looking for a specific type of dress one that was modest yet elegant. I also emailed a bunch of bridal shops sending them a picture of what I was looking for to see if they had any similar. Many shops said I would just have to book an appointment and didn’t say whether or not they had anything similar. It was getting quite frustrating and the time was ticking that I needed my dress for. I emailed Amy at simply white and right away she sent me a few pictures of what she had. There were a couple I thought were pretty close. Then Amy suggested a FaceTime call since I was eight hours away to look over the dresses that way. I put the deposit on before I was able to make it there to see it in person and just hoped it would be the one. Amy was so friendly and professional and her space is very homey feeling and comfortable. In the end all I had to do to my dress was cut the sleeves off and trim the train down and turned it into exactly what I wanted! Amy I can’t thank you enough for your hospitality and taking the time to send multiple pics back and forth and FaceTiming me. I will tell everybody I know that’s getting married about you and simply white bridal!”
