Honestly not a very good experience the staff were of little help whatsoever. And when I actually did get help the lady acted like she was better than me like I couldn't afford to buy shoes from there and furthermore they didn't even have anything in my size like I'm Bigfoot or something all I was getting was a simple sandal with one wide strap across the foot with Velcro. They had nothing in the styles that I wanted so I had to settle for a pair of WHITE!! MK sandals which is probably the worst $63 I ever spent because my feet are bleeding bruised and blistered up so badly because the lady couldn't even take the time to size me properly. My advice?? Stay far away from the staff here they have a way of looking down on other ethnicities other than caucasian! Which sadly I AM!

Went to browns to get myself 1 pair of shoes and came out with 3 for me and 1 for my boyfriend.
Obviously I have a shoe problem but I also was swayed by the attentiveness and kindness from the lady who assisted me. It's hard to find help when you are in a retail setting now a days and they made it a comfortable shopping experience. Kudos to this location.. will be back even though it's over an hour from me!

I was in Browns and was helped by Sam. I learned that she is a manager not an associate there but yet helped me with her amazing knowledge, experience and honesty. One great thing was that she knew when to give me some space to browse and decide and when to approach to help and suggest. Also, it was reassuring that I felt that I was helped in a manner as if she would purchase for herself, with the same level of honesty and care. Sam recommended every options considering my style with patience and asked where and how much I will be wearing the shoes to decide on the best one. She did not get frustrated by bringing different shoes and sizes and finally explained how to take care of the shoes for more durability. I do recommend shopping in Browns in Southgate with their wide range of options and such great staff.

I’ve shopped at this location several times and the service is always on point, staff is helpful and give you space to look around, bring out the product all the while remaining friendly and helpful.
They also have a great selection, doesn’t help my crazy shoe addiction something I’m afraid I’ve passed on to my daughter !
I found my work safety Blunnies in my preferred color, who said you can’t look stylish sporting work boots & platform Doc Martens for my daughter. She was over the moon!!
In this economy it’s not just about the product but also the service provided and this location has always given us great service.
We will be back!

We came in last week to buy boots, Sam was so helpful and knowledgable about every single brand. Browns wasn't my choice of store now I feel I was wrong.

Top notch customer service. Quality footwear. I bought a pair of men’s UGG boots and they have passed the test of time. I’ve even mudded out the boots and left them wet for a few days in my trunk, to then clean them and find they are still just as good as new!

I called them if they do price match and they said "yes we do" and when I drove 20 minutes to get there, one of the sale associate said we don't do price match at all!

I had such an amazing experience at the Southgate Browns store. Aynnik was so helpful and knowledgeable, she knew exactly what I was looking for. I was treated with the best customer service. I really liked how she gave me many different selections which allowed me to choose the best fit. Shivani was also exceptional she was such a great listener and made sure to get exactly what I was looking for. I was so grateful to have received such great customer service. This is a great location and the staff know exactly what they are doing. I would definitely come back and tell all my friends and family to go check them out.

On September 20th I commented on Facebook how unhappy I was with the fact that I received an ad for Browns Shoes, fell in love with a pair of sneakers and when I tried to order them online they didn't even show up as an item they offered. It was both frustrating and disappointing! I was put in contact with Edmonton District Manager Annik Garceau and she went above and beyond looking into why this happened and if it would be possible for me to purchase a pair. Her extra effort paid off in both figuring out why this happened, extremely popular shoe with limited quantities, and potentially finding a pair in my size!! In a world that is increasingly online it is easy to forget how much of an impact amazing customer service has on a person. Anniks actions in this situation will have me going to Brown's whenever I need footwear! She is an amazing representative for Brown's Shoes and her commitment to resolving this in the best possible way for me was outstanding!!!!

Big THANKS ? The staff Aangi at south gate mall Browns help me for finding my correct size in my favourite pair. She ordered for me and help me out and stays in touch all the time until i get those thanks.
