“Has everything you need at a coin car wash, has a decent amount of bays where I’ve never had to wait.
The room where you get change does smell a little funky, not too great. Luckily you don’t have to be there long.

“I called ahead to make an appointment and was able to drop my vehicle off the same day and left it overnight. The owner/staff were pleasant, understanding and wonderful in accommodating me with a challenging schedule.
After buying the vehicle used it was just filthy and covered in mud, it even had Cheerios in the vents. The vehicle was done on time, like new, spotless inside and out.
The service was on point, on budget and on time.
Unfortunately I don’t have the after photos as I was just in shock at the difference in the cleanliness of the car.

“A great wash system for my truck and RV. Industrial strength power washers and very good soap. They will also put on foam for you for those extra muddy experiences. Long wide bays make cleaning your truck/RV very easy. Staff is helpful and friendly. Water is very hot, so hot in fact, needed to use the barrel handle when washing. This site is not meant for children or pets as there is a lot of activity with semi trucks. One word of caution, park on the street and then go up to front counter to speak to staff, otherwise you may find yourself stuck in the lot due to space and not able to turn around. Highly recommend this establishment.”

“Update: I hadn’t been to this car wash in 4 years when I originally reviewed it. I was disappointed to see that they don’t have the tap feature at the wash bay. Hopefully they will update this in 2026 because this is still one of the top car washes in Edmonton.

This is the best car wash in Edmonton. It is always clean and well lit. When I lived on the northside I used to drive all the way to Windermere for a car wash every couple weeks. So glad I moved closer to it so I can visit more often!”
“Great car wash! Very spacious and easy to use! It's useful for inclement weather outside, you can clean your car in peace. The only issue I have is there is not enough signage, like the signs are very small and you have to figure out the nozzles and brushes thru trial and error. If possible, I'd put a sign next to the menu selection listing where the nozzles/brushes are. (example, orange brush on the far right is the foam brush, black nozzle on the left is for soap/rinse. Aside from that, great wash! I'd def recommend this place to others.”

Took my son’s car here to have it detailed. Spent over $500. In spite of it being cleaned for 2.5 hours with four people working in it, they still left spots not cleaned, and garbage that had been wedged between the front passenger seat and the console. True that’s a tight spot to clean but if the seat is moved forwards and backwards and someone actually looks, the debris can be seen. This area- whether driver’s side, passenger, front or back, is a common collection area for debris so cleaners should automatically check those. Other spots missed were the trunk liner, door jams, etc. Again, areas I would think are standard to clean. Unfortunately it was dusk when the car was finished and I didn’t see the missed areas until much later on because I wasn’t looking for anything at all to have been left- I mistakenly assumed that several people working on it for that length of time and cost would result in a complete job.
This is now the fourth Bubbles I’ve gone to over the years, with different vehicles and using different cleaning packages. Every time whether it’s a $50 or $500 job, things have been missed by those cleaning and supposedly doing the walk around before the customer departs.
I went to the 51st ave one because I hadn’t been to that one, and thought nothing would be missed due to the complete detailed cleaning package.
My review is a caution to Edmontonians when choosing a car wash. There are others in the city that do a better job and for less $$. I know this because I just used a different one that did a great job, for cheaper.”

“Even with a new gas station across the street, I still come to this Esso & Smart Stop for the easy access off 149th and quick in-and-out service. I fuel up, grab lotto tickets, and sometimes hit the car wash. Did so today and love that it’s now tap-to-pay—no more tokens or paper slips. Not sure how many car wash locations in the city still have tokens or paper code entry, honestly? Tappy makes me happy. ?”
“Great station with a clean convenience store. My only complaint is that the pump printers are sometimes out of paper, so you have to walk inside for a receipt. Not ideal in the cold weather, but otherwise a solid place to fill up.”

“I come here only to wash my vehicles. 4 stars as The wash equipment is starting to show some wear. Always a stall available. Stalls are kept clean. Store is well stocked. I had a debit machine in one of the bays take my money but not work, the staff pointed me in the right direction for a refund and an associate delivered Tokens worth 1.5x more than I lost, personally to my home.”
