CHECK your receipts!!!! I went into the store yesterday, the debit machine said not approved when I used my tap, then again, then I put my card in and it said not completed. So I paid with Mastercard. I checked my bank account that night and noticed I was charged 2 times on my debit card despite the machine telling me it didn’t work. I went to the store and they said I had to wait 24 hours and dollarama will just know to refund me that they have technical issues, so I said how about get new machines then. It’s fishy that I was charged even though the machine said I wasn’t and I’m being asked to wait 24 hours because of know technical issues. What if other people didn’t check, your machines are triple charging people!!! I want my money back, I have the receipt and proof I was charged! Why couldn’t the store refund me directly? That’s crap!

Good prices but the people working the till won’t even bag the stuff you buy. They run between two tills giving equally bad service to both customers-very disappointing:(

Always a great place to shop! Affordable prices, lots of variety, and I can usually find exactly what I need. The store is well organized and makes quick shopping easy.

Too bad experience there is a cashier wearing pink top giving instructions to customers that they cannot leave any item at the till, they have to go back and put items back to the aisle. She even did not make any effort to give receipt to the customer, busy taking another customer on another till. Not even calling back up.

Holy crud. Literally worst dollarama I've ever been to.
1) Floor wet and slippery near entrance and no sign [no sign of concern from the staff either]
2)Literally broken glass on the ground. A worker was in the same aisle and continued his task [which btw was ridiculous as he was stacking random kitchen stuff in a pathetic jumble]
3) No automated tills - typically im appreciative of this - WHEN THERE IS MORE THAN 1 CASHIER* DURING PEAK SATURDAY HOURS AND THERE IS PLENTY OF PEOPLE LINED UP
*The lady at the till was quite efficient.

Worst dollarama In the city. Please please look into self check out it would be way faster than the slow cashiers you currently have. Line up is always wound all around and into lanes.

It's ridiculous that a person has to wait 15min in line to pay when other staff are walking around cleaning at 3 pm on a Saturday. When I asked to call more cashiers I was completely ignored and the 2 Indian girls were talking in their language and giggling .. I will never shop here again and tell everyone I know to not shop here either.

It was lucky I gave it a one star. First of all, this store was messy and very unorganized. Boxes and carts left in aisles, and not enough room to have people pass each other. Why is the Halloween candy mixed with the Christmas candy. The people working there do not seem happy to be working there. They don't even engage with customers.
But the thing that had me upset, is when I went to check out. I had to split up my transactions for two items. One was a apple card and the other was a simple $2 dollar notebook. They say it was store policy but some people have limits on using their debit cards. So I think they need to revisit that policy because it's ridiculous.
